 + -1 moreThe team was extremely professional and prompt. I felt their expertise was great, especially since I had a heavily damaged and old floor. It looks great. I would easily contract them again.
Description of Work: The team refinished my second floor, which included 4 bedrooms and hallway as well as the staircase. My floors were a mix of spruce, pine and fir and were painted, no less. The floors are about 100 years old as well, and heavily damaged. They turned out terrific and the color was great considering they had to blend different woods together. Additionally, some boards were even worse - they had considerable water damage. They repaired the floor. It looks great. Please be aware that as I write this review, the floors were just done a month ago, so I don't quite know how they'll hold up, but, thus far, I am extremely happy with the end result and was extremely happy with the crew.

 + -1 moreI wanted to refinish the Southern yellow pine floor in the living room and dining room. I got estimates from eight different people. Their estimate was in the middle. They were very responsive and very timely and got back to me with an email. No one else did that. I had them do the work and they did an excellent job. The pricing was excellent for the work they did. They refinished about 460 square feet.
Description of Work: I used Colonial Floors two weeks ago.

 + 0 moreDave (son of owner) was fantastic! He was professional, appropriate, and accurate in his time frame estimation. Completed the job when stated and the end product was outstanding. The home was built in the 1940's and the original wood floors had been covered up by carpeting for quite some time; there was also multiple staining that is barely apparent at this time. He did convey to me in the beginning that this job would be more expensive than normal, however I was very anxious to get them done so that I could move furniture into the home. The end price was approximately $3.60/sq foot, which I do believe to be a bit steep however I do think this is a and quot;fairand quot; price given his concern over the age of the floors and staining. Overall, I was highly impressed by the overall experience. Overall, I was highly impressed by his performance and the end product.
Description of Work: Refinishing (sanding and lacquer) of 1940's wood floors with staining and some light and some heavy damage. Floors were pine and fur.

 + -1 moreExcellent. They did everything we asked and its been a few months now and we're still pleased.
Description of Work: Colonial Floors removed an old subfloor, laid a new hardwood floor, patched some bad spots on an old hardwood floor that abutted the new floor and resanded and polyurethaned older floors. The match between the old and new floors was flawless. We liked them so much we recommended them to our son who also used them to lay new floors and weave them into older floors.
