Kitchen is beautiful. Had it done 4 years ago. One of the floor cabinets kept coming away from the wall. It was painful to get these guys to come back out and fix their failed installation. This happened 3 times in 3 years. Each time was difficult to get them to respond timely, and clearly they did a quick fix and didn't really address the problem. This last time, the owner Joe came out and it does seem ok now. However the main issue I have was how they made me feel like it was my issue, and was an inconvenience for them. They did not install correctly, had multiple opportunities to fix, and didn't get it right until 3 attempts. And made me feel like I was the problem to boot. After they got that cabinet finally set, I asked them to touch up the grout that had cracked from the movement. They sent me an email back quoting me a price to do this. This was their screw up, and after all of the hassles, they want me to pay for their mistake. I would be very leery of using this company. Good looking initial work- very good. But if you have an issue, good luck. I was very patient and kept a very professional demeanor- I wasn't some pushy, pain in the a** customer. I just wanted the problem fixed, and they made it into an issue. I think people should know.

Magically expanded small stuffy bathroom into spa-like luxury. Workmen and subcontractors were skilled and courteous. Schedules were maintained, materials were first quality, and the experience was very positive.

I like the selection of Cape & Island Kitchens. I felt like I was comfortable with them. One trim on my cabinet was unfinished. They were supposed to come by and put it on but they never did. I got tired of calling them. It took them over a year to replace the flooring in my kitchen. Overall, I would not recommend them. They were not satisfactory. The work itself as far as installing the cabinets, I really liked it but he did not finish his job.
