We had a POSITIVE experience working with Roger of Byam Construction on two occasions. I first met Roger when a few rows of roofing shingles blew off last winter. I was amazed that he made the effort to come to our house that same evening to patch the shingles before rain the following day ! Because of this positive experience, a few months ago, I had him back to look at a serious issue that needed immediate attention. . Our home is near the ocean which lead to 31 years of severe degrading of cedar shingles , Anderson windows and wood trim. During driving rain storms water started leaking into our home. We met with other contractors also but Roger made more of a effort to meet with us on multiple occasions to review in detail what needed to be done to get the house weather tight once again. His recommendation to remove all of the shingles , trim and Anderson windows proved to be spot on as his fine crew of Brandon and Martin found water damage and rot behind the shingles and water damage inside of the 31 year old Anderson windows and Transoms. After removing all of the shingles, windows and trim his workers wrapped the entire house in ice /water type barrier before installing new Anderson windows, grade A shingles and Azek trim on the entire elevation. We couldn't be more pleased with workers attention to detail, quality of the products used , cleanliness and time frame it took to complete the job. Mr. Byam called right away, I explained the roof shingles repair. I sent him the photos requested and he was able to pinpoint the cause. He came within the time frame the same day and took care of the repair. The location happen to be on third floor roof, than second floor, but he was very resourceful to solve the problem. The fee was reasonable and I appreciated his commitment to take care of problem in very efficient manner. Recommend him very highly.

Roger had Brandon, one of his employees, install an Andersen Slider for us. The installation was first rate, and I couldnâ t be more pleased. He also was able to use the old moldings so they matched my other moldings in the room.
