Paul came out on-time to measure my yard and to make suggestions, and returned after my wife had additional thoughts on what she wanted. Paul was very accommodating both times, even though these were free quotes. I received the quotes the same day and they were very reasonable. We set the date and I paid a deposit. Paul came by in the morning for one final walk through and let me know the who the was in charge when the workers came. The installers were awesome, they worked through the day and finished in 1 day. I made some last minute adjustments with the foreman, which left them 3 panels short. He let me know they would need to order the panels (before he even started)), I assumed I would just have a gap, but they instead put in a temporary fence to fill the gap so my dog could use the yard (didn't ask them to do it, they just did). I got an e-mail two weeks later that my sections were in and that they would stop by the next day to install them. I asked if I could buy the temporary fence to block off an area under my porch (crafty dog), they said sure. Again, didn't expect it, but they installed that as well, and then didn't charge me for it. I would recommend Sudbury Cedar Fence to any and all who ask, the fence looks great and it couldn't have been an easier transaction. Hire these guys, you will not regret it.

Working with Paul, George and Sudbury Cedar was a seamless experience. I started searching for fence installers a year or two ago and realized I needed to hold off due to other priorities. I interviewed multiple providers and Sudbury Cedar was by far the most thorough, responsive and the price was fair. I restarted this effort in May and Sudbury Cedar responded right away with an updated estimate. Leading up to the start date, SC was very good with communication and expectations. Day of, George showed up on time and got started right away. He was very professional and friendly and had great solutions for a couple challenges. Install went quickly and we couldn't be happier. George even capped off some minor finishing touches late on a Friday in the pouring rain. Sometimes when you envision a change, the outcome does not always align. In this case, SC exceeded my vision and expectations. Thank you! I would highly recommend.

They came shortly after the scheduled date due to weather, the job was done in the time they said it would take, and the area was left clean.

Turned out great. Lots of compliments. They are good about collaborating and offering price options. Needed one small adjustment because of a misunderstanding about the design and they took care of it without a word.

From beginning to end the project went very smoothly. We received a quote within a few days and the price was competitive, the project started on time and the installers listened to our requests and suggestions. This was a large project and the punch list items were handled quickly. One of the posts warped after a couple of months and was replaced without question. Sudbury Cedar had installed our original fence many, many years ago and always made themselves available to do repair work such as replacing posts. Bottom line is we are very pleased with the fence, the workmanship and the interactions with Sudbury Cedar. We highly recommend them.

The service was excellent. Care was taken to protect my dogs during installation. Even though large rocks and soil had to be removed the yard was left looking undisturbed. I would definitely use this company again.

Well it was not easy to secure a time to have an estimate performed. Once we were able to get one scheduled, Rich showed up at 9 for a 7:30am appointment. He offered no apology and acted as if he really did not want to be at our home. I called and emailed the office to inform them that the guy had not shown up and it was after 8 am. I have yet to receive a call back or any type of acknowledgment from my email or phone call. Plus my entire name was incorrect on the estimate sheet and when my husband went to correct it Rich became defensive. My husband didn't reprimand him or anything he was just writing my correct name. Apparently this company does not need the business, and personally I don't want them anywhere near my home. Customer service is paramount to us. If that's horrible what can we expect for their work.

I had received two previous quotes from fencing companies before I contacted Sudbury Cedar. When I first called Sudbury Cedar, the owner himself answered the phone and was very responsive to all my questions. He then came to my home and was willing to talk about design, including offering suggestions for a custom gate. The work was performed on time and Paul the owner was on-site both days. He appeared very knowledgeable about fence installation as well as really cared about the quality of the work being performed. A crew of 3 men worked efficiently, while respecting my property and existing plantings. I was so pleased with the final outcome and HIGHLY recommend them. Paul the owner is wonderful to work with and his fencing appears to be of a higher quality than the other two companies I contacted. I really can't say enough good things about Sudbury Cedar Fence.

I am extremely happy with my experience with Sudbury Cedar Fence. Paul came out to do an estimate and I got the estimate right away. The estimate was competitive and he was very pleasant to deal with. George, who installed the fence, was very professional and worked hard to complete the fence installation in two days. Not often does a project come out exactly how you would like it to, but in this case it did. We love our new fence and so does our dog!

I called him on a Saturday asking for a quote as soon as possible and he took the time to come out the next day, Sunday, to take the measurements and gave me a quote on the spot. Within a week we had agreed on an install date and I was looking forward to a peaceful summer. His installers showed up on the date committed at exactly the time I was told they would be there. They worked like a finely tuned mating without needing to talk about what to do. Holes were being dug while the chain link was being removed and within four hours the job was complete the old material was removed and my new fencing was installed. This is the second time I have had Sudbury Cedar Fence work on my property and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Paul, the owner, was very helpful and spent extra time answering all my questions. Claudio and another guy actually installed the fence. Claudio seemed like he really knew what he was talking about, answered some questions, made recommendations, and showed me the finished work to make sure I was happy with everything. Sudbury Cedar installed a new fence around our pool when we moved in many years ago. The fence looked great then; and thanks to periodic maintenance and repairs that any fence needs, it looks great now. We needed to replace some old posts that had decayed over 20 years. In this case, a young man named Justin did the work. He was extremely diligent and professional. Paul has always given us excellent service; whether he or one of his employees does the work. You won't go wrong with Sudbury Cedar.

Sudbury Cedar was recommended by a friend several years ago, and this is at least the third time I have used their products and services. The first time was to replace sections of a broken fence, the 2nd time was to replace a chainlink fence with a black aluminum fence, and this time was to completely replace a wood fence. Paul is responsive and prompt and provides recommendations for the ideal outcome. The products are attractive and of good quality, and the pricing is very competitive. In each case the work was beautifully done, and the result is aesthetically pleasing.

I needed a fenced in area for two new rescue pups I adopted. I emailed several possible companies through Angie's list in mid-April and all replied promptly and set up appointments to come and talk. All were polite and professional. I emailed Sudbury Cedar Fence in mid-april and owner Paul Brown called promptly to set up a time for his son Richie to come and discuss the project. Richie arrived on time. I told him what I needed and we discussed options. The fenced in area I needed is in the back; I did not need a decorative fence but I wanted a fence that was sturdy yet would not obstruct views. He was very polite and professional. Estimate for the work (black vinyl covered metal fencing/posts with 4' gate, $1300) was emailed to me the next day. It was the lowest estimate of the three companies I had contacted. Although Paul could not immediately promise that the work would be done promptly (all the companies said the wait would be at least 2-3 weeks) he said if there was a half day gap in the interim he would slot me in. A few days later I received a call that George their fence specialist could come and do it the next day. I accepted. George arrived as arranged. He worked virtually nonstop and accomplished the entire job in about 8 hours. The area is attractive, sturdy, non-intrusive and does not block views - just what I, and my pups, needed. I am very pleased with the results and recommend this company highly.

Paul, the owner, came over personally to give the estimate and sketch out the project. He was very nice and very professional. He was (and rightly so) proud of the business he had built over the years. He sent over a gentleman named George who he personally endorsed as excellent at his job. George was that and more. Excellent at his work and very cordial and nice to work with. The job was beautiful, completed perfectly and quickly at a very reasonable price. They made "just one more chore" a pleasurable experience.

This was a great experience. I have wanted a fence for quite some time. It was the end piece of a rather large landscaping job. Paul worked with me through multiple design ideas - type of fence, location of fence, gate needs/sizes, hardware. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and patient with me - we ended up with just the right fence! The quality of the design continued through to scheduling and installation. The scheduling was prompt. Paul and the team came right on time and efficiently installed the fence. It looks tremendous! He gave us a tentative installation date and reached out to us to confirm the actual date once confirmed. On the agreed upon date, the installers came on time and worked all day and part of another day. They did a terrific job! The fence looks great and we are very pleased with the quality. I was extremely pleased with every aspect of my dealings with Sudbury Fence. When I first called for a quote, Paul (owner) came to my house the next day. We talked about what I was looking for, he measured and gave my a written quote right then. When I called to schedule the installation, I needed the fence installed relatively quickly. Despite the tight timeframe, they were able to get the job done. A crew came to install my fence today. They were extremely professional and did an amazing job. Fence looks great!! I will definitely use them again and refer Sudbury Fence to friends.
