Justin from Precision was professional, knowledgeable and provided us with a list of work that needs to be done soon which gives us time to budget for the work. They fit us in the next day when I called and Justin arrived earlier than expected (huge bonus). We will be a Precision customer from now on! We used another company for 15 years and Precision blew them out of the water with customer service and quality of work and equipment. Thank you Precision!

Jacob did a fantastic job. Professional, efficient and easy to work with. I was actually juggling a Zoom call and dealing with him was easy and constructive. And of course everything works like a charm.

I have had consistently positive experiences with Precision dating back to installation of a Lift Master opener in 2005 and new two-car garage door in 2014. I called for help two days ago when our garage door was acutely not opening or closing properly. An appointment slot was given me within two days of my call. Technician Rich Netto arrived when expected. He was friendly, professional and thorough. He was clear in letting me know what needed to be done- including the replacement of a coil which had broken- other adjustments were done and moving parts of garage door wearing down were replaced. The work was carefully done- the garage door is again working very well. The process of getting the help from first phone call went very smoothly.

My door spring broke on Sunday and I was able to get hold of a representative who scheduled an appointment that worked for me. The technician, Mike, was very courteous and helpful and was actually early and was able to repair the door very quickly. He also gave me tips on how to properly maintain the doors in my garage. These guys are great and I highly recommend them for your garage door needs!

We had our entire garage door system replaced last year. The installation was smooth, the installers were friendly and knowledgeable, and the door is terrific. (Our adult son says that if he could fall in love with a garage door, ours would be it!) We had service today because the door had developed a hitch that nearly always stopped the door from closing on the first try. The technician was on time, again friendly and knowledgeable, and found the solution to a difficult-to-diagnose issue, which he corrected. I recommend them.

Great service. They came just a short while after i called, quoted a price, solved the problem and got my garage door functioning in a few minutes.

I have a Genie PCG600 garage door in which the door would not stay closed but instead opened immediately after closing. I tried adjusting the limit switch but that did not work. I called Precision Door Service Hudson and they offered to come see me that day. The service person came and performed a very cursory inspection and immediately told me that I had a very old garage door opening system and should replace it with a new one. I focused him on the problem I was having and his response was this was that I had a faulty limit switch and that parts were no longer available for my garage door because it was such an old system. He said I would need to replace the whole system and he outlined several options for between $700 and $900. I told him that I would not make a decision today as I would need multiple quotes from other companies. At that point he told me he had an “old used limit switch that might work” and he would try to install it with no guaranties that it would work. The limit switch “miraculously” worked and he charged me $126 for the service call and switch. A few days later I went online and found that the replacement part was available from both Genie and Amazon (see links). I had to assume that he had the “new” part all along in his truck. I hate being lied to and then pressured to buy a new system when a very inexpensive replacement part ($13.99) is available from the manufacturer. That was a very sleazy move by the repair person and not worthy of an “A” rated company by Angie’s List Garage Door Opener Limit Switch: [*** Link removed ***] [*** Link removed ***]

Good communication throughout; I knew when tech was on the way, he arrived on time, was careful to observe health protocols, and worked efficiently. He taught me several important maintenance tips, things that might have avoided a service call. Fairly priced. I’ll definitely use them again if it becomes necessary.

Precision Door Service diagnosed the problem and found something wrong that I had overlooked. Frank had woodworking skills and was able to replace a piece of wood that was substandard. He also secured the outer structure on both sides by using multiple screw-in nails, which replaced the inferior single nail from the garage door's original installation back in 2010. The door now functions much better. He also provided some tune-up work. The door is now operating more smoothly and quietly. Most importantly, it seals properly, which will prevent insects and rodents from sneaking in as the weather gets colder. Overall outstanding work!

From ordering the doors through the installation, Precision Door has been excellent to do business with. Jesse arrived early and installed our beautiful new doors in a timely and very professional manner. Solid, high quality doors! I would strongly recommend Precision Garage Door.

In June, I called (chatted with) Precision Door Service and said I wanted to have my two garage doors tuned. There was nothing wrong with them at the time, as far as I knew, but one of them seemed to be a little loud which, like a squeaking wheel, led me to believe that preventive maintenance would be appropriate. I was quoted a price of $99 plus $69 per door. The serviceman who came on July 1st, however, had obviously not come to do preventive maintenance: He came to sell me things, starting with complete new doors and motors. He gave me some nice glossy brochures. He claimed that because my existing doors and openers were so old, he could not work on them. If that is true, I should have been told that before his visit was scheduled. He was determined to replace something, so we eventually agreed on the cables, which were showing minor signs of fraying. It was a ten-minute job he told me, because of his seven years of experience, and he soon left with my $296.70 check in his hand. The first time I activated one of the door openers, the next day, the front gear (idler sprockett) broke into two pieces, which fell to the ground and made the opener inoperable. Although I cannot identify any specific relationship between the replacement of the cables (or any other modifications the service person might have made) and the failure of the gear, the conclusion is inescapable that the door was working when he arrived, and not working when he left. After three telephone calls (two of them chats), the same serviceman came back on July 11th. Again, he had not come to fix anything, but to sell me things. His preferred solution, faced with a broken plastic gear (and I bought a new one on Amazon for $13), was to install a new motor, at a cost of $645. So, after my tune-up from Precision Door Service, I am left with a door that is inoperable, and a company that apparently doesn't care.

Paul did an excellent job in replacing our garage door opener. He was professional, explained the process and was very courteous. If our second door opener were to go, I would use Precision again!

Great service I called to see if they would be able to come sooner than requested as I had an appointment and really needed to get my car out of the garage . Jacob showed up within a few hours , took care of my situation in short time had my door working . Very knowledgable,professional and kind to us .

I was having a problem changing my code on my recently installed garage door opening system. When I called Precision, I was immediately connected to a person. After I explained the situation, I was told that no technicians were available until the following day from 3 to 5pm. That did not make me very happy, but I took the appointment. Chet from Precision texted me his photo and then called me three hours early to see if I was available within 30 minutes. I agreed and within 15 minutes of his arrival, he had checked out the whole system and patiently explained and walked me through how to change my security code. Precision is the best!

Fifteen years ago I used Precision because of their 5 star reviews and that hasn't changed. I recently bought a new home and as the last, the garage doors were in rough shape. They were skipping across the rails and water, light, wind and mice were coming in. The first day I opened the garage the door fell off the top. Barry installed my new doors and said the tops of the old doors were all rotted. My new doors are high quality and beautiful. What I love most about Precision is they stand by their products with a lifetime warranty and 24/7 service. One of my new doors was slightly off with light and wind blowing through the side and the door was moving more than it should of. I called and they found a tech. that could be there within the hour. Paul came out and made a quick adjustment. I have a bathroom that is a dormer over the garage and the pipes are freezing in it. My garage is now much warmer and I'm hoping it doesn't happen again. Precision was great right from the estimate to end. Their prices are reasonable and they given great return customer discounts too! Special thanks to Ron, Barry and Paul. You were all fantastic and I can sleep at night not worrying about my doors anymore.

Precision Door Service did a excellent job in my most recent experience. I was assigned Tom Shea as my account manager and he did a terrific job. Tom got back to me very quickly and came out to personally do the quote himself. The next day I had 3 options that were presented to me with pictures of how they would look. Tom gave me a follow up call to explain them to me. The order was placed with a accurate lead time and the doors were installed by there technicians.
