Precision Door Service

Thank you Precision Door! We just had new garage doors, garage door openers and all related work completed at our home. The work was completed thoroughly and exceptionally well. We love our new doors and openers. This is an excellent company and terrific team I highly recommend.

In June, I called (chatted with) Precision Door Service and said I wanted to have my two garage doors tuned. There was nothing wrong with them at the time, as far as I knew, but one of them seemed to be a little loud which, like a squeaking wheel, led me to believe that preventive maintenance would be appropriate. I was quoted a price of $99 plus $69 per door. The serviceman who came on July 1st, however, had obviously not come to do preventive maintenance: He came to sell me things, starting with complete new doors and motors. He gave me some nice glossy brochures. He claimed that because my existing doors and openers were so old, he could not work on them. If that is true, I should have been told that before his visit was scheduled. He was determined to replace something, so we eventually agreed on the cables, which were showing minor signs of fraying. It was a ten-minute job he told me, because of his seven years of experience, and he soon left with my $296.70 check in his hand. The first time I activated one of the door openers, the next day, the front gear (plastic chainring) broke into two pieces, which fell to the ground and made the opener inoperable. Although I cannot identify any specific relationship between the replacement of the cables (or any other modifications the service person might have made) and the failure of the gear, the conclusion is inescapable that the door was working when he arrived, and not working when he left. After three telephone calls (two of them chats), the same serviceman came back on July 11th. Again, he had not come to fix anything, but to sell me things. His preferred solution, faced with a broken plastic gear, was to install a new motor, at a cost of $645. So, after my tune-up from Precision Door Service, I am left with a door that is inoperable.

Percision Door sent Tech Mike (#49) and he annonuced his arrival with photo , nice.... Mike investigated the issues with both single doors and gave options as to repair. Gave pro's and con's of each options leaving it my choice with zero pressure as to which option fit the repair. Extremely professional installing two new motors , new entrance control and remote controls which were the options I chose . The repairs needed were during this pandemic he showed total safety measures throughout the install. Mike also performed the required repairs in a timely manner. Great service , friendly and professional personnel , I would totally recommend Percision Door to anyone looking for any type of garage door service.

Very responsive, they come right out, do the job. I had a problem with the door a week later, not their fault, they came right back and fixed the problem. I want to make clear that it was not their problem, it was that the door molding was interfering with the door's operation, so they fixed that for me. Highly recommend.

I was having a problem changing my code on my recently installed garage door opening system. When I called Precision, I was immediately connected to a person. After I explained the situation, I was told that no technicians were available until the following day from 3 to 5pm. That did not make me very happy, but I took the appointment. Chet from Precision texted me his photo and then called me three hours early to see if I was available within 30 minutes. I agreed and within 15 minutes of his arrival, he had checked out the whole system and patiently explained and walked me through how to change my security code. Precision is the best!

Precision garage door! I canâ  t say how happy I was to find a door company open with the COVID-19. Called on Thursday and they set up an appointment for the next day, gave me a time and the service tech call saying he was on his way ( early ) and when he got to my house he looked over the issue and gave me three options. We pick the options we wanted it before you know it he had it completed then show me that the door was balanced and asked if I had any questions. I would recommend this company to any of my friends or anyone it asked me about them. Thanks for the fast response and the service tech was very informative and polite. I will definitely call you if I ever need help again

Ed was great! He called ahead and was punctual and professional. He explained everything to me and got the work done fast and at a reasonable price. Super nice guy and he really know garage doors!! My garage sounds ten years younger! I highly recommend and I will only be using this company for my future garage door needs!

Mike M was very professional, he explained all my options very thoroughly. After I chose an option, he was done in under an hour. He also went out of his way and tidied up some loose hanging wires for no extra charge. I will definitely be calling him first for any future work.
