They cleaned up after their work. They were wonderful. They're great.

Nobody bothered to reply four days after I submitted the request for a quote. I don't know why people list services here when they have no intention of performing them.

The folks at Curley we’re prompt and courteous and came out to diagnose the issue the same day that I called. Once it was determined that replacement was needed they were able to come out the next day and install a unit I had purchased with no issues.

They arrived on time and cleaned up after the work was done. They also coordinated with the town inspector to come out and approve the installation of the new unit. Overall, very pleased with the work.

When we had our annual inspection from an out-of-town company with which we have had a service contract, we were told the old boiler was a hazard. We called them back for a replacement proposal. Sticker shock ensued. We contacted Curley & Sons for a second estimate for the same work. They came in approximately $2,000 dollars less for a slightly more expensive boiler option. The electrical work, controls, old boiler removal, and clean up were included. We immediately accepted the bid. It took a little while to schedule the work, but the heating season was quite a way off and it was no problem. The work was done efficiently and Curley took care of scheduling the town inspector, as well. We found the team that did our work was thoroughly professional, explaining everything and answering all of our questions. We enjoyed having them here.

We were mostly satisfied. When calling their office, we would typically get voicemail, but they usually called us back within 24-48 hours. Once we could get them on the phone, they were good about scheduling work to be done quickly, typically within a week of our call and the price was reasonable. We felt that their plumber, Rus, was good about coming up with some creative solutions for running the plumbing through some challenging spaces. He explained what would and would not work and helped us come up with a plan to make it work. We felt he truly worked with us to try to come up with a design for the bathroom that we wanted. We were mostly pleased with the work but had two complaints: 1) we had to clean up after them. Usually our past contractors have taken away trash and waste materials, so we were just a little surprised, but it wasn't a big deal to us. 2) the shower valves are not level. While it does't effect the function of the space, it does aesthetically look a bit off, especially in relation to the tile.

One time my water heater was leaking so I called them while I was at work and I came home to a new water heater. They replaced the water heater under warranty (which I didn't have to mention). They show up on time and I like that I don't need to be here when they are here.

They are pretty responsive to coming when you have an issue. The only issue I've had with them is if you ask them that's kind of stupid and trivial in plumbing terms and they have to look something up they are not as quick about getting back to you about that.

The first time, they came on time, did the work quickly and well. We've had no plumbing issues since. To get them to come, though, we needed to call about four times before someone called back to schedule the free estimate. That took about two weeks to do! Meanwhile, sewage was pouring into the basement. The second time we were charged $125 for something we should have been charged way less for. I think $50 would have been more reasonable. The guy came in for three minutes. He said there was no problem and no leak and that the spray hose needs tightening from time to time. He tightened it (something we could have done easily), and he was gone. He really wasn't in the house more than 3 minutes. There was no leak!

They came when they said they were going to come. I think I would try someone else. The repairs were OK but, not totally successful. They are OK. It's not a major thing, I was just unhappy with how it turned out.

I loved this provider. We bought this house 4 years ago, but haven't had any work done on it until this year. Many things in our house were installed by the previous owner and were other than industry standard. The first plumber we had, from a different company, was clearly pretty frustrated and ran out of time. The man who came to our house today was very patient with all of my questions and explained things clearly to me. He was able to make time to check on lots of odds and ends after fixing my main problem (the kitchen sink). He also left things tidy and clean afterwards; he clearly respected my home. I will use this company for all of my future plumbing.

Very nice, professional team. I was just a little overwhelmed with having to pay $150 for a 10-15 minute visit. We paid the invoice and wrote a little note about our surprise at the price. They immediately returned our check with an adjusted invoice ($100) that included the reasoning for the higher original invoice, as well as the adjustment. It was still a lot of money for a relatively short visit, but I guess that's the cost for having knowledgeable, skilled people make repairs to save us from much larger and more costly problems. I was impressed by their responsiveness and consideration. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again if/when the need arises.

I called Monday morning after the water heater died. I met Gene on-site Monday afternoon for him to take a look. He was right on time, checked out the water heater and it's basement location and let me know it would be a 2 person job and they could do it the next morning at 8. I scheduled the appointment and the next morning at 8 there were 2 guys at the door. Total job of disconnecting and removing the old hot water heater, installing the new one and the gas inspection took less than 3 hours start to finish. Great experience - no fuss/no muss.

Workers arrived on time and were able to locate and replace the leaking portion of vertical stack and connecting horizontal pipe in short order. Pipes were located in a wall but they were able to complete the repair leaving only evidence under kitchen counter and well out of sight. Kudos to them on that.They also found and repaired leaks in the sink drains and replaced old water shutoff vale as I requested. Only problem was they had to return twice to fix minor leaks in different places in the sink drains which ,to anyone who has ever tried to repair 50 year old drains would fully understand. One leak only showed itself when hot water drained and to their credit came back promply and with a great attitude. YES I will definitely use them again and I found their rates quite reasonable.

Excellent. Everyone who came to my house was professional and personable. The job was done beautifully, the areas they worked in were left in immaculate condition. I'm thrilled with my new set-up.

Mr. Curley is very personably and knowledgable about what he does. He had a helper with him when he came out, and they were both prompt and efficient at their work. I'd highly recommend their services.

Existing 2" copper pipe was eroded and split along bottom for about 3". I removed the exterior siding to expose the piping to the vertical stack. I have done a lot of minor plumbing, but I was intimidated at the thought of attempting this repair. Mr. Curley responded the same day and arrived at the time promised. He was courteous, professional, competent and efficient. I could not be more pleased.

Everything went very well. Only thing is no emergency service available after hours. But I would definitely use plumber again.

The service is quick and they file the required paperwork with my town's Water Department.

The plumber arrived on time and did his job swiftly and professionally. First he installed my cold water shutoff so that I could restore water to the rest of the condo. The pipes were copper, so he had to use a blowtorch to install it. After that he removed the hot/cold water shutoff valves in my shower and replaced them with a single Symmons dial. To cover the hole, he used a large oval plate. I wasn't interested in retiling, so that was an acceptable solution to me. Afterwards, he cleaned up his tools and left. The bill came in the mail later.

The whole experience was great. The secretary was great. The guy that came out was neat and clean. They had the best price.

Curley was recommended to me as a family business that has been around for generations. My observation is that every one of the sons who comes out to do work knows his craft well. They do good work, efficiently. The cost sometimes seems high, but it's worth it for the quality. I've never had issue afterward with any of their work. The only issue I do have with the company is that in the last year (2011-2012) they seem too busy. I have called for emergency repairs, gotten their answering service, and never gotten a call back. I still recommend their service, if you can get it.

The serviceman arrived during the scheduled window, was very knowledgable and personable. He worked quickly and was very neat.

Called them up and set an appointment for two days later. The plumber arrived on time was able to fix the issue. Will use them again for other plumbing jobs.
