Andre and his crew did an exceptional job building my 2-level composite deck and handling all the permit issues. For much of the project, Andre himself was working, and he kept us informed of all issues encountered. He also repaired water-damaged sheathing on the house for a competitive price.

We are moving and had a small deck repair job to complete prior to closing. Andre called right back and was able to come over to quote the job the next day. Excellent work

My house is well over a century old. Andre was very easy to work with. He was open and honest in all his interactions. His workers were polite and efficient. He quoted a fair price, and started when he said he would. Despite the inevitable repair "gotcha" in a house this old, he adapted to it, and even finished a day earlier than his estimate. I am very happy with the result. I plan on calling him for future projects and will certainly recommend his company to my friends.

Communication was excellent between Andre and myself, always responding quickly. Work was top notch. The new deck was beyond expectations. Also I asked Andre to check for wood rot and he and his crew found and repaired extensive wood rot and insect damage on the side of the house all around where the deck attaches to the house, the side door, sill, and wall. Superb job.

Andre did not do the work himself. He sent two of his workers. They were at our house for a total of five days. Their work was excellent. They identified some problems that I did not know we had and fixed them immediately. In addition, they were very pleasant to have around the house I highly recommend AK General services.

Andre, the manager, was very professional and responsive

I thought I was getting professional painters. I was told I was getting oil paint on the wood work. I got shoddy work, paint drips everywhere. I am still finding paint in my bathroom, bedroom floors, ceilings and all over my hardware. Although Andre was very nice, he could not exert control over quality and told me he was doing the work when in reality he had two young people with no experience painting. I had to show him where his crew did not prepare the woodwork by sanding which I asked for and filling holes. Until I pointed each and every bit out, the work was not done. I finally gave up and paid him to go away. The job was not well done and I should not have had to explain painting to the professional. I would never hire this company again

Andre Kuhn and his crew were very good at removing my old 1912 living room ceiling that was sagging badly. Then they built a new ceiling from scratch to take it's place. They primed and painted it also. Plus they installed R30 "Pink Panther" insulation in my attic after the completed structural repair was done. They also cleaned up the mess after the demolition and repair. I would recommend them to anyone who needs repairs to their house in a very short time and at a very reasonable price. AK General Services is 'One Stop Shopping'. They seem to do it all.

Andre Kuhn framed a small upper porch area which I wanted to screen in. My house is nearly 100 years old and needed Andre's skill to take into account all the ways an old house settles. He did a really great job. I just finished hanging the screens and it looks fantastic. He was prompt, courteous and neat. His price was reasonable and he finished on time. I would definitely hire him again.
