I have to say this engagement went very well. I was informed of what may be causing the cracks, what can be done and what the best course of action was. I will definitely be calling back if I need further repairs.

We live in a large 150-year-old house with a field stone foundation. We had Rich come out to give us an estimate on repointing and lally columns when we were purchasing the house. He gave us a pretty good quote so we called to schedule the repointing a few months later. Paul came out and did the work, which went well. He told us to give them a call if we noticed a lot of water seepage still. We had heavy rains a few days later and noted some spots where water was still making it in (some will always get in, but we certainly don't want little rivers busting through). We emailed and they offered to send Paul back out to address the problem spots. He came by, walked through the basement with me again to discuss all of the areas that saw water, and spent an hour or two reinforcing all of those areas. We were chatting about how I'd need to caulk around some of the basement windows where the cement wouldn't help, and before he left he actually found a tube in his truck and took care of it for me. It was a really nice gesture!

Ive had them come out before and didn't really check their work but when we continued to have mice trouble I did inspect. I had them plug up two long cracks in my foundation. The cracks were partially filled. I noticed that they didn't inspect where the cracks began they just did a very superficial repair of what was visible. So my cracks remain and I'm out $650. My checks were both cashed within 24 hours so I'm assuming they thought I might have them stopped. Shame on me for not inspecting closer the first time.

We had perpetual water seeping in from where the pipe from the well enters the basement. We had contacted other companies & they wanted to put in a complete "drainage" system in our basement to "control" WHERE the water went! We wanted the leak STOPPED no just diverted elsewhere. And they were looking at over $10K for the work! A-1 Foundation had an extremely simple idea -- fix the leak at the entry of the well pump! Amazing, so simple and to the point! They fixed it & we have a 5-yr warranty. We have had absolutely NO LEAKS since then!

The team was easy to work with, easy to schedule with and showed up on time. The finished product wasn't very pretty (they warned me ahead of time) but was effective. When I had an issue with one area leaking, they sent out a technician within 2 days to make the repair. High quality solution to foundation cracks that leak water.

Rich was unbelievable helpful even late at night. This is extremely rare and refreshing in today's world. I have not had any work done as of yet but will definitely be following up with Rich in the near future.

They came in quickly, efficiently, cleanly fixed the problem for the best price. No mess, no fuss. They didn't try to up sell me on things i didn't need or want. I prepped/cleaned the area ahead of time so i was ready. I feared that the work would take 2 or 3 days (due to other quotes). Meanwhile they were in and out in a less than 4 hours.

Here's where it gets better. The gentleman who came out took a look at the cracks, and the bulkhead, and told us that the cracks were probably not the problem at all. In fact, to him, they only looked like settlement cracks (which are common and normal) and he felt that the water we were seeing was coming only from the gaps in the bulkhead. It only looked like the water was coming from the cracks because it was following them down the wall. We decided to hold of on having the cracks filled and instead will be filling the gaps under the bulkhead ourselves to rule out that being the cause of all our issues. Overall, A1 is 10 out of 10. I'm very impressed with their professionalism, responsiveness and knowledge about what they do. We're new home owners and could easily have ended up paying for work that didn't need to be done. But A1 was fair and thorough and even removed one of the stairs (which are wooden) under the bulkhead to ensure that there were really no cracks that needed to be filled. Thank you so much and (though we hope we don't run into this problem) we'll definitely call you if we ever need foundation repair.

Spoke with Rich within 24 hours of making a request on Angie's List. He asked that I send photos of the problem, then called with thoughts on the best way to repair. Since work involves moving the A/C units and taking them out of service, we'll be waiting until the fall to commence work, but I will definitely be using A1 based on my experience. Very professional, took the time to understand the job, worked with me over the phone and via email to avoid wasting everybody's time, and told me what to worry about and what not to. Highly recommended.

Paul from A 1 Foundation was awesome. He was running a tad late from a previous appointment (that was unforeseen) but called to give me an arrival update. Upon arrival he explained how the whole process worked and fixed the foundation crack in less than an hour. He did a great job and the problem is now gone. The last big down-pour did nothing ... my garage stayed nice and dry. He even patched an adjacent crack that had formed near the main one. I highly recommend A-1 Foundation.

Rich answered his phone as soon as we called, gave plenty of explanation, and then - when he was unable to assess the damage based on my descriptions over the phone - offered to come by to take a look in person, at no cost to us. He showed up on time the next morning (a Saturday!) and gave us his honest assessment. He was prompt, accessible by phone, friendly and very knowledgeable. Will definitely be working with Rich in the future.

When A-1 arrived to make the repair, we were told that the cracks were cosmetic and that we could easily fix them ourselves. They even recommended products to use. Wow - a company with integrity. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Rich was very timely and helpful in his response. Although our project wasn't a good fit for his services, he was extremely helpful and professional.

The gentlemen that came to the house were great. They explained to me exactly what they were going to do, showed me the materials and completed the job in under 1 hour.

Rich was very responsive and quick to get here considering the weather was getting colder and the repair would need to be done quickly. I also appreciated his suggestion and recommendation for another contractor on dealing with standing water in our basement. Another technician came on date and time as stated. Took very little time. Work was done efficiently, cleanly, and the foundation looks great. The product they use is pressed into the crack, then something like a wide, large, strip of duct tape is placed over the crack and sealed over with another product. Comes with a 10-year guarantee.

Rich explained what he was going to do and a nice job. Was very informative and solved the leaking problem. I have not had a leak since. Very happy.

We had water collecting in our garage, and wanted a few options on how to address the problem. Rich Comeras arranged time quickly to come by, With it being so late in the season, and temps dropping, he arranged to stop by quickly. He gave us a quote and a non-invasive method of repairing a substantial crack in the side of the wall. He also recommended another contractor to deal with the slope of our garage floor stating that was the real reason for water settling in a corner of the garage more than water entering from the ground. The repair was done in under 2 hours, complete, non-invasive, and no issues. Other than the fact it looks like we have a super large piece of duct tape down the side of our garage, you'd never know they were there.

Rich responded within 24 hours my email. He asked me questions regarding the cracks in my basement and gave me an estimate. An appointment for service was made and his crew was very prompt and professional. They did a great job!

Called Rich regarding repair to my cement patio. He personally answered the phone, not an answering service. After discussing my issue Rich asked that I send some photos to better estimate the costs. I sent the photos at 7pm at night and Rich called me back to discuss 30 mins later. Very impressed by this response time. Rich and I went over the problems and he asked several questions to analyze the source of the issue, rather than just offer a cookie cutter solution. Rich was very honest and offered a few paths ahead, including a temporary solution that I could do myself. While I did not hire Rich at this time I will definitely be saving his information for future use. His focus wasn't on getting an easy pay day, but working with people to solve a problem.

I hired them to repair a crack and they ended up just putting a giant patch on it. If I would have known they were going to do this I would have done the work myself. They made a mess and resin went everywhere. They didn't do what I wanted them to do I would not use them again.
