Description of Work: We went to Weston Nurseries looking for houseplants, and found some great stuff. Their greenhouse had lots of interesting and strong plants, so we ended up buying 5 big plants and too little ones, with some pots as well. We look forward to going back once spring arrives for trees and perennials for the yard.

Description of Work: I bought the yard plan special deal for $100. It took at least 5 times of rescheduling, and then the guy was late. He was really nice when he finally arrived, though. Then it took FOREVER to get any plans from him. I begged. Then summer was halfway over. I was really unimpressed with the plans. I mean, I could have come up with what the "designer" did. The plants were boring, there was very little thought or creativity given to my problem areas, and I didn't feel like there was much insight gained from this experience. I wouldn't do this again, nor would I pay for it. It was much more trouble than it was worth.

Description of Work: Removed overgrown shrubs/plants in a small urban outdoor space. Replaced with new topsoil for planting beds, new shrubs and plants, and installed new terraced patio. Work was done in a timely manner and the plantings and the new patio look beautiful. |

Description of Work: Kris designed a back yard shade garden and worked with me to refine the plan to adapt it to what already was growing well, and what I wanted. The team came back to do the actual planting and mulching, and even after a hot summer it all looks great.

Description of Work: Chip did an excellent garden design. I am happy with the outcome, though I learned an important lesson: the design was not to be interpreted as the exact outcome to expect -- so for example, the width of the patio was considerably less once executed versus what was depicted in the plan. This was not mentioned at the planning stage.

Description of Work: Weston Nursery produced landscape design for one area of my property. They did a good job, and the person who came was very friendly and professional. The cost of implementing the design was much more expensive than I wanted to spend, so I did not have them do it, but it gave me some good ideas.

Description of Work: The person who came out to look at my yard did a wonderful job. He made a wonderful plan. Very courteous, thorough, etc. However, I simply did not follow through. Not his fault.

As a new homeowner to this property, I am interested in doing more than the original Big Deal offered, and they made the job a bit bigger than I'd originally thought, but it was a good price so I went with it. I love Weston Nurseries; I am looking forward to seeing what they suggest, and how it all comes out.

Description of Work: Chip arrived promptly to do a "walk around" of our recently purchased property.He provided us with professional information regarding the existing trees and shrubs, and how best to care for them. He also provided suggestions as to which annuals he would add, giving specific details such as where they will thrive and how they will blend with the greenery in place. He never rushed us and was patient with our lack of expertise. Chip provided us with the exact service we were hoping for!

Description of Work: I was very pleased. Designer came to home, we talked and sometime afterwards I met him at nursery and he helped me pick out some plantings that he suggested in his design plan. I now have a road map for from of home. Very helpful.
