Worst experience imaginable. I was charged $5180 when the estimate was $2200. They broke family heirlooms, etc. The details would exhaust you. The manager, Lisa, couldn’t have been more rude or less understating.

Terrible!!!! What a huge disappointment. I decided to use 2 men and a truck because I had seen their trucks and I had a super easy short move ($350 total) and wanted to get it done on short notice and they could accommodate. I explained everything I had and specifically called out that I had a 400+ lb. desk that would need to go up a flight of stairs. They said that would require 3 people. So, the day of the move they come show up with three small undersized guys (who according to my wife were very nice). They moved all the small stuff but initially told my wife they could not move the desk. That it wouldn’t fit up the stairs. Eventually they measured the desk and the stairs and acknowledged they could move the desk BUT we had to sign a form saying that if they damaged anything accidentally that we could not hold them responsible. Why would I pay a so called professional moving company to move my furniture and not expect them to do it professionally? So, I called the office and the guy there explained that they had measured the desk and said it probably wasn’t going to fit so if they did it they were probably going to damage the walls, the desk or the stair bannister. Obviously, I was not going to sign off allowing them to damage my desk or my house with no accountability. So, what did I do? Exactly what I was trying to avoid. I was forced to inconvenience 2 of my friends. I had a 53 and 41 yr old friend come to help me (48) to move a desk that this “professional” furniture moving company couldn’t move. It took us two moving blankets and 20 minutes and the desk is now upstairs, nothing damaged, no thanks to 2 men and a truck. So why can three middle age guys who sit at desks for a living, move a desk that a “professional” moving company couldn’t? Answer: They aren’t really professionals. If they were this would have been an easy move for them and they would have held up their end of the bargain and moved the desk. But when you send three undersized guys (let’s face it, moving furniture requires strength sometimes), one who was on his first day, then you are not a professional moving company. To top it all off, this “professional” moving company, scratched our hardwoods. (my wife didn’t check on them and therefore didn’t notice it while they were still there, so 2 men automatically denied my claim saying they didn’t do it and since my wife didn’t notice till they were gone we were out of luck.) All in all, I have moved 4-5 times in my life and have used many contractors around my homes. I have never been so let down as I was by 2 men and a truck. Their undersized movers, their office staff and their claims department. DO NOT use two men. (I fully expect them to respond with lies to this post. Make up some story about their guys not being undersized…. But the truth is the truth. 3 middle age guys moved a desk that three young “professional” movers couldn’t or wouldn’t. All the lies in the world don’t change that fact!)
