The process was easy & the finished product was fantastic. I needed to re-organize my home office & was looking for built in desk to maximize the space. The designer came when scheduled & we talked & she did some measurements & came up with some great options for both the desk & closets I wanted organized. She broke it down so I could do some or all of the work. She asked about style & gave me some options for accessories too. I looked at the plans, she gave me time to decide & when I ordered it, the process was smooth & easy. The installer arrived early & did an amazing job & asked me questions along the way & made sure everything was perfect.

Absolutely the best in closet design, service and product. I've used other closet companies in the past and was ho hum about the product and design, but this company took an idea for organizing my closet to a whole new level. Really personal service, not trying to sell me a closet design that worked for them, but one that met my needs. I especially liked what the designer call a 'cad' program design that let me see the closet in 3-D before I settled on the final plan.

They are wonderful. They were very easy to deal with and they did a beautiful job. They did a beautiful job of installing it and the designer was very helpful and flexible. The designer was a delight to work with.

After a visit to the store, a designer came to my house a few days later and designed a closet system for a bedroom reach-in closet which is about 10 feet wide. The process of designing was about 2 hours working together and discussing our needs, measuring, and looking at our current closet. The designer gave me a quoted price later that day. We could see on her computer the unit she designed and she emailed us a PDF so we could decide. The installation was about 2 weeks later. It took about 3 hours and went fairly smoothly. The technician was prompt and cleaned up well. I was home during the install and was glad I was since he asked how I wanted a few things. Also, there were a few issues with measurements and accessories being wrong, but they were corrected. Overall it was pretty painless and the new closet is really nice. The quality seems high and everything is very sturdy and level. It feels more spacious than before. We will do more closets in the future. They had a sale at the time, so I will wait for another big sale, since the savings was significant.

Overall, the experience was positive. A designer came out within days of my call and designed a closet space for my needs. Installation was performed one week later. The installer was punctual, professional and polite. He went above and beyond my expectations to get the installation done, even though it meant he had to be late to his next appointment. He had to work around some lighting that was not taken into account in the design process. When finished he vacuumed the area and cleaned up the shelving and hanging rods he had installed. He had the invoice and other paperwork with him and ready to give me. My only criticisms are that the designer failed to take the light into consideration which mandated some last moment changes, and she failed to mention that 36" hanging bars (which she put in the design, not me) will eventually bow if they carry heavy loads of clothing. Since this closet was designed for a teenager, those rods will be packed. The installer did say they could be bolstered with a brace that you can buy at any Home Depot or Lowe's, but that's not part of California Closets service. Though I am a DIY'er in some respects, for $1500.00 I expect the design and install to meet my needs without further expense or labor on my part.

This experience was great! I had 3 companies come do estimates. They all came to my home and did designs for free, all of which were quite professional. At first I thought the designs they came up with were very similar, but eventually I realized that there were some subtle points in the California Closets design that made it optimal. Also CC has some design software that makes it very easy to visualize the final result. Nonetheless, their price was highest and I was going to choose another vendor, but CC was willing to come down. I can remember the specifics, but I think they dropped from about $2500 to around $2000. The materials and workmanship was outstanding. The installer came and left while I wasn't even home, and there were no signs of his work other than my beautiful new closet organizer. I would highly recommend California Closet to anyone, although I must say the competitors were also impressive.

I moved into a small condo and needed to maximize closet space. I spoke with California Closets and another closet company. Both came out to measure and make suggestions, both made a good impression, and although California Closets was more expensive, I could not bring myself to sacrifice the quality and service of a well known company for a few hundred dollars. The installer was prompt, efficient, and very pleasant. The closets are perfect for my needs and very adaptable to future needs.

THEY CAME UP WITH GREAT PLANS FOR ALL MY CLOSETS. THE INSTALLATIONS WENT AMAZINGLY QUICKLY AND SMOOTHLY. AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE SPACE IN EACH CLOSET WAS WELL PLANNED AND HAS WORKED QUITE WELL FOR MY NEEDS. ALSO. I HAD SOME SPACE WHICH WAS ALMOST UNUSABLE WHICH NOW, THANKS TO CALIFORNIA CLOSETS, IS PRACTICAL.

The designer was very professional and came up with a good design; however, the estimate was the highest of the three estimates I received. I do feel the quality of California Closets is very good, but I felt the quality of other companies was good as well for a much lower price. I've been told that California Closets is sold at Costco, but I don't know if it is discounted through them or not. It's probably something worth checking in to if one has a membership there.

THE DESIGN THEY SUGGESTED HAS BEEN VERY USEFUL, THE INSTALLER WAS ON TIME, PROFESSIONAL AND CLEAN, AND THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL.

DAVE MACLENNAN DID A WONDERFUL JOB OF DESIGNING A SYSTEM OF SHELVES AND HANGING THAT MAXIMIZED OUR SMALL SPACE, WHILE WORKING AROUND SEVERAL STRUCTURAL OBSTACLES. HE PUT A LOT OF THOUGHT INTO CREATING A SYSTEM THAT WOULD MEET OUR NEEDS, AND IT'S BEEN A GREAT SUCCESS! HE WAS PROMPT AND POLITE IN HIS VISITS, AND DIDN'T TRY TO PRESSURE US INTO MAKING QUICK DECISIONS OR UPGRADES. HE ALWAYS RETURNED OUR PHONE CALLS IMMEDIATELY AND ADDRESSED ALL OUR CONCERNS AND REQUESTS. THE INSTALLER, MATT, WAS NEAT AND FAST IN HIS WORK, ALSO VERY NICE. THE MATERIALS USED ARE GOOD QUALITY AND THE FINISHED PRODUCT LOOK VERY ATTRACTIVE. THE PRICE WAS FAVORABLY COMPARABLE TO OTHER QUOTES WE GOT FOR THE SAME BASIC SYSTEM. I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO USE CALIFORNIA CLOSETS AGAIN.

WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING ANOTHER ESTIMATE BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THEM - VERY EXPENSIVE.

IT WAS EXPENSIVE AND DID NOT PRICE COMPARE. THE WERE VERY RESPONSIVE AND QUALITY WAS WONDERFUL. GREAT COMPANY.
