We had a leaky toilet flange which damaged the sub floor. As always we called Chris Morcone of C Morcone painting and remodeling. Chris came out that same day and we came up with a plan to remove the existing ceramic tiles and install porcelain floor tile planks with a wood appearance finish. Chris repaired the area under the toilet and also installed hardy board cement boards on the entire bathroom floor including the closet area. He also waterproofed before cutting and installing the tiles. The fit and finish of the tiles is beautiful and the grout lines are perfect! the floor has an extremely solid feel. Chris also noticed that our cellar had not been fire proofed up to modern code standards so we hired him to complete this job which was done simultaneously with the flooring. We now feel safer and are glad Chris educated us and we were able to get this job done right away.

C. Morcone Painting and Remodeling provided expertise and quality construction from start to finish in our outdoor deck and stair project as well as our garage/carport project. With their skilled craftsmanship and carpentry, it was a pleasure dealing with their professionalism, integrity, and knowledge in the selection of materials and the design of our construction projects.

Remodeled an all tile bathroom from the 1960â s. Stripped back to studs. Installed tub/shower surround, new plumbing and glass sliding doors. Also all new LVT flooring, new toilet, new vanity and added a contractor built towel tower, replaced all electrical lights, and added adjustable shelving to bathroom closet. All walls were painted, trim painted and ceiling painted. During the process clear and courteous communications between contractor and home owner. At completion of project the bathroom was exactly as the home owner had envisioned. The contractor kept the work area clean and neat, answered pertinent questions immediately and met all expected issues quickly and professionally. Would highly recommend Chris and his crew for any remodeling projects.

We are so glad we worked with this company, the quality of their work was excellent and they clearly took pride in doing it well. They were professional and reliable in communicating updates, and very nice people. We especially appreciated their willingness to look at some other concerns we had with the house and either taking care of them along the way or letting us know when something was actually okay or that we could do relatively easily ourselves (and giving good advice on how to do it!). We respected such genuine honesty and integrity. Building a strong long-term professional relationship was important to them, and we'll be going to them first for anything we need done in the future.

The owner (Chris) was able to schedule a home visit, quickly. The proposal was drawn up and submitted for approval. (Wainscoting, crown moldings, painting) The project came in under budget and was completed in less time, than planned. Carpenter/painter has an eye for detail, pride in his work and always cleaned up in the areas where he worked. Frequent communication, from the owner, always kept me informed. I was very satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend this company or to use them, again.

Surprisingly quick scheduling (within a few days of job request), given the circumstances of COVID-19 (most contractors seem very backlogged). Very responsive, clear and courteous communications. Final bill less than original estimate based on actual time spent on project.
