Believe it or Not!

I hired this company to replace a large living room window with a smaller one. Due to the new, smaller window size, this included framing new interior wall, new exterior siding, and adding new dry wall inside. He was very personable, showed up on time but the work quality was terrible. While he was very nice, he just basically did not have the carpentry and constructions skills required for the job, or else he just didn't care. The inside frame board on one side of the window was not flush to the wall, leaving a half inch gap between the wall and frame, and it was visibly crooked. When I sent pictures he came back and fixed the worst of it, but it was still not completely right. Worst was the drywall mudding which was globbed on so thickly and unevenly that not even a power sander could take it down to an even wall surface. Of course using a power sander made an ungodly mess all over the house. He didn't sand or caulk any of the window trim, and damaged the existing base wall molding when he removed it and left it cracked and splintered in several places, requiring repair by me. The amount of work and time I had to spend trying to repair these issues before I could paint was a huge and frustrating bummer, and not at all what I'd expect for a professional job. I had to cut my losses and move on. I would not want another homeowner to go through what I have so felt compelled to leave an honest review. He had lots of positive reviews on HomeAdvisor, so go figure. Maybe he's okay with simple window replacement but my experience was not good.

This is not just a great contractor, but a great guy. His communication was pristine. His work was fast and well done at a decent cost. But he’s had such a positive impact on my entire family, I will be hiring him again and again!

Just hired Chris to replace my patio sliding door(9/19/2014) He always responded my emails/phone calls. He also helped me on a "hidden" issue under my deck one week after the original project. Chris is honest and reliable. I will recommend Chris to my friends.

Chris did a fine job. In addition to installing a new storm door, he had to correct several mistakes and damage to vinyl siding around the door from a previous flawed installation. I would not hesitate to contact Chris for a future project.

Even though quality was good, the delay in project completion was unexplainable. Additionally rise in cost was never communicated to me till the final bill - final cost being twice what was initially estimated.

Chris Turner made gave may a good impression right from the start. He looked over my house and suggested other things that he could take care of while also siding my house. Chris was on site and working everyday on the project and it was completed in the two weeks he said it would take. The job he, his son and others did was great. The price I paid was very fair. The neighbors want him to do projects for them now. My house has never looked better. I will have Chris and the � Believe It or Not� crew do more work on my house in the future .
