Rich was very pleasant and knowlegeable and helped my figure out the best way to solve my problem with my tree. He worked with me to figure out how to best keep my lawn from being damaged and was going to climb the tree get rid of unwanted branches. He gave me two options to either cut part of the tree down or just trim it to let more light get in. In the end I decided to have someone else do the work because of convenience and a change in my plan but would have been very happy to have Rich do the work.

We got a quote delivered from them. They were local and the price was not a problem with other people. They were able to come in a short period of time.

They were well and efficient but the biggest stump that they were suppose to do they didn't do. We already called them back. I would not recommend them.

My neighbor recommended American Climbers after being completely satisfied with the job they did for her. After my positive experience with them this morning I was compelled to spread the word as I had what I would describe as an outstanding customer satisfaction experience with them. Their teamwork was awesome, the skill of the entire crew was top notch and their pricing was very fair. From the start, John was someone I wanted to do business with and now after meeting Rich and Brian, I can see why my neighbor highly recommended them. My phone calls were returned promptly. They were flexible when we needed to make a last minute change in the scope of the project, completely reliable and did exactly what they said they would do and on time. Every person was friendly and polite. And most importantly, they operated with impressive skill and in a safe and efficient manner. Lastly, their cleanup was thorough and you would not know that two trees had been excavated a few hours ago.

Brian is extremely personable, responsive and reliable. He returned calls when he said he would, was prompt and very respectful. When he came to look over what had to be done, he was well informed and explained why the trees and branches he pointed out to be eliminated were necessary. His team worked together very well, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends or neighbors or employ his services myself in the future. They took great care to avoid any damage to nearby trees and my home. Having had trees removed in a former home by a different company, I expected an expensive estimate, and he came in with a lower price than I anticipated. My landscaper had heard of him and also thought that they were "stand-up" guys.

Owner showed up when scheduled and went over everything that needed to be done.Nice guy-very friendly and took his time explaining everything that needed to be done as well aas why it needed doing. Crew showed up on time-nice guys.Did all the work and cleanup-very pleased with work.Would definitely use again.

All the work was done by a well trained crew who knew exactly what needed to be accomplished. They used heavy equipment and put plywood down so the lawn would not be damaged. The crew worked very efficiently and very quickly. All work was done in a few hours.

They arrived on time, worked hard and gave us very good value. Our new house was pretty overgrown. There were a number of trees hanging over the house and choking out the sun in the back yard. They got more done in the day than I would have thought possible. I now have a bigger sunnier back yard and when Sandy hit two weeks later we didn't worry about the house. They also took everything away and later brought us a cord of firewood. We would be happy to to use American Climbers and see Brian, Dougie and Charlie again.

Rich came out promptly to provide the estimate for the work I wanted done; trees that needed pruning and especially one that apparently had been struck by kightning. His estimate was very reasonable. The group came out early on the appointed day and professionally removed the branches and cleaned up the area, There was no evidence left behaind of the cutting and chipping; the yard and surrounding areas were left clean. An excellent job done!

At 7:15 in the morning someone knocked on my door and said, "Yeah, we're going to be parking a crane in front of your driveway. Hope that's okay." No, "good morning" or 'Please" or "Would you mind" or even a smile. Needless to say I said, "No, it's not all right! I will be going to work soon and others will need to get in and out during the day." He just turned and walked away while I was mid-sentence. This guy was so rude I would never hire this company for anything.

They came as promised. The quote remained accurate throughout the entire job. There were six people on the day of the job, and were done with the entire project before noon. I have also used the service again to clean my property twice after severe weather, and they did the work within the next business day.

John and his crew were thorough, dependable and very reliable. As I was out of state, this could have gone terribly wrong. He told me when he would be at the house, and we spoke at the end of the day when he was all done. I had gotten a couple of other estimates and John's was the most reasonable and thorough. He has a full working knowledge of the trees and which ones were healthy and just needed pruning, and which ones needed to be removed both from an aesthetic and safety point of view. Our goal was to be safe and also to clean up the property and John and his crew did that and more. I would definitely hire him again.

I had a bad experiences/He said he was coming over on Friday morning at 11:00am, he never showed or called.Then he showed up unexpectedness on Saturday afternoons saying o I coudn't make it yesterday(no excuse, reason, nothing).I told him I'm sorry but we are busy right, and to come back Monday afternoon(cause i have doctor's apt. Monday morning.So he called me on Monday morning and said he could come over now, and I said i am at my doctor's why are you calling me, I told you Monday afternoons, "We had agreed on Monday afternoon.Then he said o forget and hung up.

They did a great job. They gave us an estimate on Friday and did the work in less then a week. The price was by far the best we got. They did an excellent job and would use them again if necessary.

The gentleman who came out to give us the bid was very professional. We had them out last year to take down one maple tree that had rot at the bottom. They had done a great job with that removal so we called them again to finish removing two more very tall maples that had some rot and a hole in the middle of the tree where many squirrels were living and damaging the tree further. They arrived on time with at least 7 guys, backed their trucks into the yard as discussed, and had both trees out in approximately an hour. They also removed all of the debris, wood and cleaned the yard such that it was nicer than when they had begun. Their price was very competitive, they provided proof of insurance and were extremely efficient. I would highly recommend them to friends, family and neighbors.

They were very hard working. It was a day's work and they were here early in the morning. I did not have any problems with them. I authorized them to drive their big truck into my backyard, but they don't fix anything that gets trampled. They did what we asked and it was a fine job. They did leave some wood but that was fine. They were the most competitive in price.

Great response in the face of an emergency... (Tree on house!). Arrived with equipment a few hours after I called them, and were able to go to work. The job was completed a few hours later. May not happen for everyone, but I started calling services that had reports on Angies List at 9 in the morning, Brian, Tim and the team had the job done by 2 in the afternoon. And they negotiated a very fair price, I had three other quotes to compare with by noontime. All work was done professionally with great equipment.

A fast moving storm on Friday night resulted in a lightening strike to a 75ft tulip poplar tree in our backyard. This was our favorite tree and had been very healthy up to this point. Lightening hit the tree at a height of 40+ ft and a large main branch fell into our neighbors yard crushing a section of fence and our flowerbed. We had not engaged a regular tree service company, so obtaining weekend service proved to be impossible. American Climber's were the first company to return a call after hearing my phone message on Monday morning, John arrived at my house by 9:30am that day. John's quotation for work was comprehensive and competitively priced when compared to two other quotes I obtained for the same scope of work. John gave us his earliest date for the work to be done. American Climber's were prompt, efficient and completed the task without any deviation from the quotation. They were respectful of property and very professional. My neighbor gave permission for equipment to be brought onto his property to aid in the removal of the tree and debris. The heavy equipment trucks did leave some indentations in his yard which was expected. We requested copies of American Climber's insurance certificates and they provided them promptly prior to the work being carried out. American Climber's returned the following day to provide the stump grinding service, promptly and efficiently. I would use this company again and have no reservations in recommending their tree services.

The men on the job were very responsive to our request. We had a discount from them, they had a mailer.

They were extremely easy to deal with. They were adaptable to what we wanted, and when they came out, we decided to remove a few more trees and they adjusted the estimate accordingly so we knew what we would be paying. They were very prompt and clean. They picked everything up when they were finished. When we had called for an estimate, they got right back to us and came out to give us an estimate quickly.
