Garbarino Customs

Mr. Garbarino came to our home the week of July 4th and said he would have it done that week. We did not hear from him, phoned several times, asking for the decency of a return call, sent emails, also asking for an return answer. He finally phoned on July 31st saying he had a cancellation and could they come that morning....no apology for the delay, no apology for lack of communication. The installers came and began digging for installation in the back of our shed. The fencing was to be in front of our shed. I promptly went to them and showed them where the fence should be. I do not blame them for the placement error but I sure do feel Mr. Garbarino failed to communicate with them properly. They did a good job with the installation. By the way, the installers were directed to get my check that day.....he wanted his money fast, didn't he? Cannot rely on his word and lacks professionalism.

It was not a good experience. He took money, but he never actually completed work. He ordered the wrong fence and it did not match. When he came out to show me the fence and it did not match I said no. He said he would get the right fence and come back, but he was unable to fulfill the order with in our timeframe. He tried to return a portion of the money, approximately $1,200 of the $3,500, claiming the rest was owed to him for materials and services. His original price sounded good, but we did not get what we expected. The issue is now resolved after a year-and-a-half dispute.
