Hawk Renovations

I just moved to Holyoke and I'm so glad I found Hawk Renovations. This house is 60+ years old, so there were many "small" things that needed to be done to the house to make it more comfortable. One of these "small" jobs was to have a small area of carpet removed, new flooring installed, two bedrooms painted and a closet removed to make one bedroom larger. But because the house is 60+ years old, more work was necessary to do the job right. Linee recognized things that I overlooked, like cracks in the plaster that needed repair, baseboards that needed refinishing, and water damage from a leaking window that needed to be repaired and not just painted over. At all times, Linee was very communicative in what she needed to do to accomplish the end look I wanted. And in the end, she made the final product much better than I expected. It is not just done, it is done right. The texture is very even and the paint job excellent. The new flooring is exactly what I wanted. Hawk's price was competitive - not the lowest bid, but really good work and worth the little bit extra I paid. Linee and her crew cleaned up the work area every night before completing for the day, and clearly communicated the expectations for finalizing the project.I am really happy with the outcome and the finished look. I have many more "small" jobs that will need to be done over the next couple of years. I will definitely call on Hawk Renovations.
