Very professional, returns phone calls, does great work and that is something that is hard to come by. I would highly reccomend using his services as we will be using him again.

New roof was needed on a 2 story colonial home. We went out and received 2 quotes (one was very high and one was very low). Our neighbor recommended Dave Miner so we arranged to have an estimate. The owner came into our house and explained EVERYTHING in detail and how they screen their employees. His quote was on the higher end but we felt comfortable with him and signed the contract. They stated he would be installing within the month which they did. One week before they were going to start the owner introduced us to his brother who would be running the job. They were on time, CLEAN, hard workers and keep us informed throughout the installation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

They did the work in one day. We are happy with the work that they did.

We contacted this company thru Angies list in early October 2012 to have them give us an estimate on replacing our leaky roof. Dave called to set up an appointment and then showed up to look at the job. He was confident he could do it and came back with his estimate within the week. He was very talkative yet very knowledgeable about roofing. We accepted his proposal and were told he would come back with his crew before Thanksgiving. Due to the weather issues he didn't actually perform the job until December. I wasn't home when the job was done but my son was, and so were my neighbors. They told us of the enormous crew that showed up and how fast and professional they were. The job was completed that very same day and we are happy with how it came out.

It went very well, the crew was efficient and easy to have around. I am very happy with the job that they did. Especially in light of the recent storms that I would of had to endure if the roof wasn't repaired in time.

We did not select Mr. Miner's company to do the job.

Over a period of about two weeks I tried to contact this company and did not receive a response. Do: Try a more responsive company. Dont: Waste your time waiting for this one to call or email back.

Dave's crew did an excellent job over a couple of day time period. All the work conformed to the warranty requirements for an extended GAF warranty which is transferrable to another owner.

I would give Dave Miner Home Improvements an A+.

to We called Dave Miner and waited about a week. I e-mailed them and ask for a response on whether or not they would be able to come and give us an estimate. We waited another few days then called another company on the list. This company called and within a day they came by and gave us a reasonable estimate with some suggestions. Now we are waiting foe the actual work to begin. Although the ratings for this company was very good if you need something done don't wait around because there are others out there who are more then willing and do a great job

He was great with the quote, telling us what to look out for in other quotes as well as what he recommended. I had the quote in July and scheduled for sometime in the fall. I had been warned I would not hear from him until he came to do the roof and that was certainly true. Due to bad weather he didn't get to our place until the end of October and then he called the night before. However, when he came he was professional and did a good job from my perspective.

IT DID NOT GO AT ALL...HE NEVER RETURNED OUR CALL TO REPLACE A ROOF HE INSTALLED THAT WAS LESS THAN 3 YEARS OLD AND WAS DAMAGED BY HAIL. THIS IN NO REGARDS IS ABOUT HIS WORK. WE JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE NEVER AFFORDED US THE COURTESY OF A REPLY TO OUR 3 PHONE CALLS.

It was like one of those make over shows. Dave showed up with his crew off approx 15 people. They were careful, polite and very skilled. They worked from 8am until 8 pm to get the roof done. All of our questions were promptly answered. And any concerns were immediately addressed. They did a great job of picking up after themselves and keeping the mess to a minimum. We also had 29 windows removed and Harvey replacement windows and 3 exterior doors installed. You couldn't find better workmanship then what this company did for us. Strangers are stopping to ask us who did the work because it looks so good. I would highly recommend this contractor to anyone!! Fantastic experience start to finish, and we are not easy to please.

The work cost me $6,375. He was very easily reachable. He called me back once I left the messages on his answering service, which was handled by his wife. He called me back promptly to set up an appointment to see what I needed done. He was honest about the work to be done. He told me when he would come out to do the job. He was punctual. He completed the work. His price sounded fair to me. I would hire him again in the future if required.

Overall went very well. Was supposed to be done in early spring, but got pushed back because of the rain. Dave and his team did a great job. Only complication was a small buckle that Dave came by to fix as soon as we told him about it. Price was as quoted

He was quite good. He really specializes in roofs but he helped me out a lot. He provides good advice, he tells you all of the ways that a project can be done and the prices then he lets you decide with him, and will call you if he runs into a problem. He is very polite. His strength is roofing and siding; he isn’t great at putting in windows.

They did a good job and quoted a fair price. They gave me a good quality product with warranty. I like their services and will use the same in future.

The best part of hiring Dave Miner is how much time he spent with us before we hired him. He put alot of time into educating us on the different choices for our house, he met with the mason who was replacing our chimney first, he really made us feel the job mattered to him.

Everything about this job was top notch. It's the second time I have used Dave Miner Roofing. Once on my home and once on the business that I manage. Both times I was thrilled with the result.

The job went smoothly with no problems. Dave suggested we add the gutter guards and insulation in the attic as a way to reduce the formation of ice dams. A month after the installation we had a series of snowstorms totalling over 2 feet, with bitter cold following each one. Many homes in our area had ice dams and water leaking into their homes. I know, because as an insurance agent we had to process many claims, including 2 for members of my family. Our new roof and gutters performed perfectly and we had no ice dams or damage! I would recommend Dave Miner without reservation, and urge anyone to take his advice!

My experience with Dave Miner Home Improvements was terrible. He didn't put a start strip and he tried to say it was fine. He basically lied to me. I'm a carpenter, and I know what needed to be done. I called the company that he worked for and it was unacceptable. It was also very hard to get him back.

They were very friendly. He was a little difficult to get a hold of from time to time. He had mentioned at the beginning that it would be as soon as he could in the next couple of weeks. A couple of months went by without hearing from him so I did put in several calls. He finally called me back and said that they had gotten very busy. I was a little nervous about that. They did do a very good job and everything is fine. I would hire him again in the future.

They did a very good job and I would recommend them. They were very professional. They gave us the information that was very understandable. They helped us and took us around to show us the problem areas. They explained to us about all the different types of roofing in detail so we could understand our choices. The crew that came out was a really good crew. It was a large crew and they were very professional so I had a lot of confidence in them. They were good to have around; they were the best. They kept things safe for my family so we weren't walking amongst construction debris. I couldn?t compare their price with any other company. Their initial responsiveness to give us an estimate was fast, but it wasn?t the same when we wanted to set up a date to get the work done after we gave them the check. The person I dealt with said that it would take about a month to six weeks when I first called him. I then called him at that time and my message wasn't returned for a couple of weeks. Once they started the work, everybody was here when they were supposed to be here so their punctuality was fine.

I signed the contract in early April, and was informed that the my job would be several months out. This was not a problem, as none of the roofs were leaking. Dave and his crew actually did my roofs on a Saturday in late August, so I was home when they came. They were incredibly efficient, stripping the old roofing, replacing rotten plywood, and applying the new roofing. None of the roofs were huge, but they all had significant rot, which I suspected but didn't know for sure. They were here a few hours, finished the job in that one day, and cleaned up. There was no debris left behind. I did have an area that did not seal properly the first time, but they came back soon after I reported it, and reinforced the edges which took care of the problem. The windows came in a few weeks later. The gutter guard was installed on a Friday, and the next day the windows were installed. One of my existing window frames was rotting out, so it was more than just pop out an old window and pop in a replacement. All the trim inside and out also had to be replaced. The carpenters were at my house for a few hours and did a superb job. The finished work, both roofing and windows look great, and I feel that the cost was very fair and reasonable. The only reason Responsiveness was rated a B and not an A was because I called a few times to get information about when the work was going to be done, and it took a while to get a call back. Once I got to know Dave and work with him, I realized that he doesn't forget about you, and he does get back to you when it is urgent. The other thing I realized is that although he might not always call back, if you have a problem, he comes out and fixes it. When my roofing started to peel (which he had warned me might happen), I called and left a message, but did not hear back. Then it rained. I went outside to see if the rain water was getting behind the peeling area, and found out that he had already been there and fixed it. So even though some people have complained that Dave doesn't get back to you, I felt it was important to share my experience with this. Once I got to know how he works, I relaxed, and things went fine. I plan to have Dave do some additional work in the future.

Never saw Dave again after the work began. Never came to inspect after work was done. Very hard to get on phone to address concerns.
