Description of Work: I requested servicing of AC and boiler along with a drippy faucet and a malfunctioning flushing mechanism. The first worker was pleasant and professional but tried to talk me into getting an entirely new toilet when it really just needed the flush mechanism replaced. He did talk me into replacing pipe running from my boiler to hot water tank for just over $2300. In retrospect this was probably unnecessary. He also told me I needed to replace my AC and I asked him for recommendation about air conditioners but he never got back to me. There was a part needed for the boiler that needed to be ordered. I scheduled return service and stayed home from work for this. When the second worker arrived he did not have the part. He fixed faucet handles which were on incorrectly, but complained the entire time about the cheap Home Depot faucet I had. At one point it looked as if he had broken the faucet by forcing the threading from below. He was telling me he couldn't fix it. When I asked to speak with his supervisor he went out to his truck and somehow he was able to fix the problem. I could not get this guy out of my house fast enough. Regarding the leaking faucet, he quoted me just under 1400 to fix it as it required installing shut off valves which were needed. I had a different local plumber do the job for $390, which makes me think I had probably been overcharged all along.

Description of Work: The plumber came on time and quickly unclogged the drain. He explained the issues with the old rusty cast iron pipes and gave estimates on the cost to replace them. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: My water heater needed replacement, one of my sinks needed a new drain and I had an outdoor shower that needed winterizing. They explained all the options and did a great job replacing the water heater, the drain and doing the shower work. The water heater seems pricy- I chose not to get a second quote - and was able to negotiate a little better deal.

Description of Work: I hired Nicholson Plumbing to replace a Ductless Mini Split Condenser that had been damaged by a fallen tree limb. The customer service was very responsive and after sending a couple of men to the house, they offered a quote and after a week of review, I made the order to replace the condenser. They arrived promptly at 8:00 am the following week and despite missing a couple of necessary parts, they finished the job a little after 12:30 pm. They were very thorough with testing all of the internal units in my home to make sure the job was done properly. I would recommend Nicholson Plumbing to anyone in my area. Thanks to Ryan and Jake from Nicholson for their good work!
