The service went fine. I had them resolve an issue with the water pressure throughout the house. I paid an additional fee for the part to fix that. They also repaired the kitchen faucet. The pricing was high but the quality of service was great. They were prompt, professional and clean. One plumber came out and completed the work over a 2 day period. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

It went really well. They have done other work for us. They always put their booties on before they step foot in the house. They explained everything to us. They cleaned up after themselves. All three times they have been here, they have done a great job. They are very nice and polite.

I would definitely recommend Nicholson Plumbing and Heating and Air Conditioning, and will use again! They were on time, professional, conscientious (wore protective foot wear) of my floors), personable and dedicated. The price was a little daunting, but they did provide options where we signed up for service plans. If you want the job done right, call Nicholson Plumbing and Heating and Air Conditioning! They came out to perform a diagnostic and it was determined that I couldn't use deal because I had to replace the whole system. They weren't able to do the maintenance package because it needs replacing.

They do not like to deal with contractors. Even though we paid for service call up front. Unprofessional.

Very well, the old faucet was really corroded. Both plumber and plumbers assistant were very curtious showing up on time and completeing the job in a timely manor. The New faucet which I had purchased was able to be used. I would certainly call on Nicholson plumbing & Heating again for further work in my house.

I felt that the quoting process is not thorough. I would expect the experts to tell me what exactly the problem is and then tell the cost to fix it. Instead I was given options as package like pricing. Steve gave all the possible packages with / without warranty etc, which are probably the company policies. I would expect by default they should provide warranty for the work they do. Since I had to get it fixed, I went ahead and approved the project. Steve finished it well and I have no issues till now.

The technician diagnosed the problem and reset the fuse. He recommended changing the filter.

We woke up this morning to no heat. My husband called them at 8:15 am and we had someone out at 8:40am. Charlie determined that the combustion motor wasn't working properly and by 9:15 he was out getting a new motor and safety switch. Everything was done by 10:40am and we now have heat. Our furnace is pushing 20 years old and Charlie recommended that we also replace the safety switch since the two work together and it would cost more to replace it later on. I am very happy with the service. I cannot comment on the price since we did not get another estimate, but they did give us a $40 discount for being an Angie's list member. Charlie was professional and polite.

Brandon was great! Professional explained everything to me, also spoke with my husband on the phone. He cleaned up- it looks and works great! I am thrilled with the work. Brandon was 5 stars!

Their quality was good. There was a problem with the humidifier and they just resolved it. It was a "hiccup", I would say, and they dealt with it very professionally and it didn't cost us any extra money. They seem to be really professional about the stuff and they do seem to know what they're doing. They did it quickly and took care of the problems that came up and worked with us on energy rebate that we turned out to be entitled to and that was good. The humidifier needs to be cleaned and they take care of it pretty quickly. I had the furnace and the fan started to make a lot of noise and I called them up I said, "It's starting to make this noise and I went down and I tried with the fan belt and that helped for a while" and he said, "Fan belt? Well, we could fix that" but they haven't made those for 40 years. A regular plumber couldn't do this work so I had to find somebody to do it.

I called the emergency number on Sunday 11/2/14 about a leaking sink drain pipe. Because the pipe is critical to the kitchen sink and a half bath. The company rep took my info and told me that someone would call the next AM (Monday 11/3/14) to let me know when a plumber would be available. No one called the next AM so I called thinking maybe they were too busy. When I called the rep told me that there was no record of my call on Sunday to request help. I was disgusted so I called a competitor.

Excellent service - Very professional.

Went fine. I was not comfortable with their suggestion of completely replacing ac system. It is old, but I needed to get freon in to squeak it thru another year for budegetary reasons. The freon estimate was almost that of new system. He explaind that the freon was expensive for old system. I assumed true. The system is running fine and cool enough for few days we use it upstairs for guests.

I recently contacted with Nicholson Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., and purchased a two deals using the website. My purchase is listed below. Two issues - first of all, I thought I purchased one deal but must have clicked twice and ended up buying two deals (total of $238). It turned out I did not need either of these given I had work in process with the company that already included coverage for what the deal would have covered separately.The owner of the company (Mike Nicholson) told me to request reimbursement from Angie's List directly. The company has been paid in full for the work. I am requesting a credit of $238 be refunded back to my credit card with which the purchase was made. This pipe had probably been leaking for a few days, but I only noticed it after 5pm on Friday, once the water had begun to spread under the flooring in my dining room. I turned off the water supply to the house and opened faucets to stop the flow. Then I searched for a nearby plumber with emergency service, called their phone service and got a call back from Steve in about 15 minutes. He was on another job and said he'd be about two hours. Sure enough, he shows up at 7:30, checks things over and gives me four repair options. He cut out the pipe with the hole and fitted a replacement, and checked the rest of the exposed pipes for corrosion. While doing the work, I pestered him with questions about my system and he readily supplied information about how it worked and how I could improve it in the future, and how to dry up all that water which was in a completely inaccessable area behind the water heater using fans to evaporate it. A day later, that's all dry but I'm still working on the dining room flooring. Nicholson charges a $250 emergency call fee, but $90 of that goes towards the repair so it's really $160. I haven't had to hire a plumber before so I don't know if the $400 repair cost is high or low, but I'm glad it's repaired. Steve has good skills; he soldered a connection an inch away from framing and barely scorched the wood. I've seen people burn half a 2x4 away trying to solder pipe, so I was happy with the quality of the work.

Very happy with Mike and his group. They handled a large HVAC (both heating system and AC systems) very well. As important, the service (i.e., issues that inevitably crop up at inopportune times, HVAC or other plumping) has been excellent. Small inconveniences, such as a no hot water, although beyond any warranty period, had calls returned, on (long) weekends, quickly with major inconveniences resolved with simple, easy conversations/being walked through the fix. Long story short, Mike Nicholson is not the cheapest way to go. Life is kind of like that. Sometimes, you get what you pay for. In our experience, Nicholson and his team are the way that you should go if you want your plumbing/HVAC issues resolved promptly.

I'm not positive I used them, but if they are the ones, get an estimate first. I was charged hundreds of dollars for work that tool about 15 minutes. Very upsetting. Also, they had 2 people come out for a simple job. Again, I don't want to give a bad rap to the wrong company - but I think it's them. If so, beware.

I called first thing in the morning (7 am) and they answered the phone. Politely. They gave me an estimated time, called back to say they were going to be a few minutes late, and then were early. Very polite, knowledgeable young men. Sincere, tried to solve the problem several times before emptying the toilet. When the toilet was empty, they determined that it was not the line to the sewer, but the toilet itself. So they replaced it. Great job, thank you! It did cost more than I had hoped, but I am happy to have a working toilet

When I started my AC for the first time this past spring I noticed the condenser was not cooling the air. After another company came out to look at my system (and immediately suggested I not put good money after bad and completely install a new system without doing a thorough inspection of what the problem was), I called Nicholson to come take a look. The first technician that came out was thorough and efficient and diagnosed what needed to be done (though needed to order the electrical parts needed). I got a quote for the parts and service and they explained that even if the electrical was fixed there was a chance the condenser may not work properly because it was an older unit. The parts needed to be ordered so a few days later a second technician came back and performed the work needed. Both technicians were extremely friendly, professional, and explained everything they were doing and why. After the repair the system kicked on and has worked great all summer!

The guy told me that I needed a new dishwasher and I told him I would think about it. I then had someone else come out and he was able to repair it.

They did an inspection but didn't apply what I paid for the deal. They charged me $75 for a diagnostic test. They said they couldn’t do the tune up or filter because one of the units valve was broken. They were nice but it was frustrating to me that they didn't use the $119. They did seem thorough and knew what he was talking about. I would use them again as long as we didn’t have any pricing issues.

No major repairs needed. Easy to schedule and prompt arrival. I will definitely use them again.
