They were great. They prompt, worked hard and did a good job. They price was reasonable.

We bought a new house and it had a whole lot of mold in the attic. These guys came in and took care of it within three hours. They'd given a binding quote and I was very happy with their service.

I hired Affordable Mold and Duct Cleaning to come assess my attic in the house I am selling. The home inspector claimed there was mold in the attic and that the bathroom fan was vented improperly. Guy came and did a free assessment of the situation. He thoroughly searched for mold but all he could find that the home inspector had pointed out was concrete. He easily could have just said he found mold and charged me a lot to mitigate it but instead he was honest and said he didn't find any. He did however agree that the attic fan was not vented properly so I hired him to come back and do this work. He was able to come on very short notice (we are close to closing and needed it done quickly). He and his crew were professional and did great work. I would highly recommend using his company. It's nice to have someone you can trust who doesn't try to scare you into believing you have a mold problem when you don't.

We had a flood after we moved in so we had a French drain installed and that's how we discovered the hidden mold. We ended up having Guy and his team remove more drywall in order to expose any hidden mold and treat it. They did an excellent job for a reasonable price. Guy is very nice and professional and so is his team.

Initially there were some issues which I felt were incomplete, however Guy was persistent in trying to reach me by phone and by the message board and sent someone out to address all of my concerns. They not only did so happily, they offered me a discount because of my concerns. I am very happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone who has a mold problem.

The crew arrived promptly and explained the process to me. They were efficient and the attic looked great. The crew worked in less than ideal conditions on ladders: snow and ice around my house. I was quite impressed.

After trying unsuccessfully many time to mitigate mold issues in our attic, we turned to Angie's list and found this company. Guy Oliver and his team from Affordable Services were great with communication and had a very reasonable quote. We are so very delighted to use them and heartily recommended them to anyone. Guy is the owner of the family owned company and is very kind. In one full day they were able to transform our entire attic, all surfaces are clear of mold and stains and look absolutely brand new. We were truly amazed. They also did a great job installing our soffit vents. They provide They are friendly, helpful, clear, hardworking and provide a great service at a great price.

After months of waiting for my estimate, I finally called and they had no record of not sending it. The company did send it promptly afterward. Cost was reasonable. Workers were pleasant and professional, however made a small chip in the paint near my vent without fixing it. They also did not cover my bathroom mirrors which are quite large, leaving me, as a disabled person, to scrub the solution off the mirrors off myself. Simply covering the mirrors would have saved us both from this problem.

Mold is often a problem that comes up on home inspections. A lot of people freak out about it until we tell them we have a great person who can very easily correct this problem, often for less than they would expect. Guy comes out and gives our clients a quote and quick time line for the job. We would highly recommend Guy to anyone looking for mold remediation or duct cleaning.

Pretty good job. Remediated a lot of mold in a very large attic. There doesn't appear to be mold back yet, but there is a warranty on the treatment, too. Installed a ridge vent which seems ok. Installed soffits all around the house. My only complaint is that the soffit channels in the attic were not affixed to the underside of the roof, but that is a fairly easy fix. Haven't had roof leaking or mold that we are aware of. Did it all in about a day.

I received a call back within a few days and a visit was scheduled to assess our problem, but they did not show up. After I called to inquire, Guy apologized and somehow had the date wrong. He rescheduled and came out to give me an estimate for the work to be done after inspecting the attic. He also offered to look at our cellar to see if there was any evidence of mold. He took a look in the cellar and said it looked good, but did find some mold on the back sides of two old metal cabinets that we have had forever. We promptly threw them in the dumpster. His crew showed up as scheduled. They were professional and courteous - and got the job done quickly. They did exactly what I requested and I feel they did an excellent job.

It went smoothly. Easy to schedule, done promptly, thoroughly and professionally.

They were punctual, explained what they were going to do and then cleaned up after they were done.

The work went well; the men (Arnold and crew) were quite efficient; explained the process and seem to have done a great job. There is warranty for a few years (4?). I will update in future, but for now I would say that both the process and the work has gone very well.

I found out that I had mold in my attic as a result of a home inspection. I received several quotes an decided to go with Affordable Mold Removal because they came in with the best price and said that they could do it the following week. I was extremely pleased with their work. They were efficient and very professional. The attic looked great when they finished. Later in the week the inspector returned and gave it the stamp of approval. I came very close to selecting another vendor whose price was substantially higher. I'm thrilled that I made a great decision in going with this company

The estimate was about $1,200 for everything. We went up to the attic and looked at it. When I bought the house I had it looked at it originally. The charges were 5 times the price of this guy. The original guy was sent to get money of the house. He wanted to freeze it but this guy told me not to do that. The number I called, I think was his cellphone. He was very personable. I had to change the dates with him and he usually agreed with that. Then he showed up exactly on time for the estimate. He was just a nice guy. He is coming out on Friday.

It was fine. He came down a little bit on price. As far as I could tell, he did a good job but I don't have anything to compare it to. He was a nice guy. My only complaint was that he said to keep the warranty working I had to get a dehumidifier which I did but I have to keep the basement below 50% humidity. It is hard to keep the standards to the right percent. His price was probably less than some people.

This team is 2 thumbs up! They cleaned up my entire attic which was covered with black mold from top to bottom, in one of the hottest day of the summer. The crew of 3 guys worked tirelessly for better part of a day in blood sweat and tears (sweat definitely in what must have been 100F). They are real pro. My attic is as good as new. if you are unfortunate enough to need a mold remediation, Guy Oliver the owner is the person to take care of it for you, and make your life much easier and your house safer. Guy comes to my house to give an estimate a day after i contacted him. From estimate to getting the job done, everything went smoothly. Guy's team is also the best looking crew i have ever encountered. They look like the Cullen brothers from the Twilight series without the creepy red eyes, of course.

Was a great experience. They worked in the sweltering hot attic and did a great job.

Excellent from start to finish--a pleasure to work with. Communicated well and accommodating. Job came in very close to quoted price. Once the wall was opened it turned out there was more mold than anticipated, but unlike a company I used previously he didn't completely gouge me on the price.

I had a serious mold problem between the wall of a bedroom being renovated and a bathroom shower. After having the testing done to confirm toxic black mold, I wanted it remediated quickly due to this being a room for a newborn on the way. I contacted Affordable Mold Cleaning and Guy, the owner, was able to come out for an estimate the next morning. He was able to answer any questions I had and even went up into the crawl space to confirm any mold in the attic, which fortunately there was none. His estimate included tearing out the wall with the mold including all tile and old wallboard in the shower until all mold was gone. All walls, ceilings and floor, including exposed wood were treated in the bedroom and bathroom. The price was in my opinion, very fair and even though I didn't get other quotes, the speed with which the work was done was as important to me. Guy came out on a Friday for an estimate and then the following Monday and Tuesday with a 3 man crew and the work was done and completed. They did a great job, were courteous and the quality of work was excellent. Guy and his team, in my opinion went above and beyond, when I asked for a few other areas to address. The work completed comes with a 4 year warranty. I would highly recommend them and definitely use them again (but hope I don't have mold in other areas of my house).

The owner Guy Oliver beat all other estimates hands down for comparable work. He arrived on time and completed the work within schedule. He was great to work with and I would recommend his services to anyone who needs to contract with him.

It turned-out just fine. He did a great job! He even came back after the last flood that we had.
