+ -1 moreI have as of Wendsday hired a new contractor Core Handyman and the results are fixed and the house is insulated arround the windows. Now I have paid the same price to have the windows resealed and also they had to do what the builder Blair had not done in the original building of the house in 1992. Why was the job not done in the first place!!!!! HELP
Description of Work: put in new windows that i thought were harvey windows. they were clean and did one window at a time,but????? They did not insulate the window with foam insulation, they uses old insulation and did not insulate well. the cold has been coming in forever and called him. He came last month 3/14 and said there was nothjing he could do. The wind side of the house has cold and the windows were drafty. Also the deck door.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. Alan and his workers are extremely conscientious. The job was like opening Pandora's box. I had to decide what to authorize them to do and what to skip because the cost was getting prohibitive. Hazards of living in an antique house.
Description of Work: Repaired rotted window casings, clapboards, barn boards, repaired part of a sill. On an antique house.
