DJ's Paint & Wallpaper

DJ was thorough, neat, cleaned up well and the final result looks great. There was considerable prep work on some of the plaster and that was done very well. Completed on time. Highly recommended.

DJ has painted half my house and the garage. I'll be having him do the rest of the house this spring. He is a true craftsman. I never believed that ANYONE would ever take the time to actually sand down everything to the bare wood, pressure wash and prime, and then paint. He is meticulous about cleaning up after himself on a daily basis. My bushes and shrubs were protected and untouched. And the price was great, especially when compared to those of his competitors. Additionally, I call him for anything that I need done around the house. He responds immediately and, in the case of an emergency, comes right over, even at the end of a long day's work! If you need a handyman, DJ is the one for you. He does all things well and charges a fair price.

The provider was initially responsive and even came by to take a look at the job. We scheduled a date which was several months out. Unfortunately I had to cancel a couple of times because of medical issues. But since then I have been trying to reach him over the last month but he has not responded to any of my phone calls! I am going to cancel my purchase and get the work done through someone else!

DJ very rarely ever returned calls or texts. His replies were weeks apart. He always had other more important work to do. He never knew when he'd be available. I would give him several dates and contact him each week, but he usually didn't reply. Twice, he agreed to a day, then didn't show up. I don't know why he bothered to sign up with Angie's list, because he never cared about doing the work. It was he couldn't be bothered with small projects.

I purchased $100 for 3 hours of handyman service in early May 2015. I emailed DJ's Paint and Wallpaper several times, got delayed response about coming but never got back to me. I called as well and finally today was told that they are busy and cannot come until September. I would caution anyone to purchase ahead of time for services. I want a full refund for this from Angie's List. Terrible experience.

The deck took longer to paint than was estimated but the paint quality was good. The plumbing work was not professional. The pipe that was connected came off after a week causing a spill under the cabinet. He does make a few personal remarks/jokes that may not be considered as being completely professional both language and intention wise.

DJ seemed very knowledgeable and professional when we met to go over the jobs that need to be done. I am disappointed that he doesn't seem to have the time to do the work.

He contacted me immediately to make an appointment. He was here on time and did a fantastic job.

The entire transaction from booking the initial appointment through one of Angie's Deals to final day and payment went very smoothly. I'll hire him again!

He knows painting; he?s a good general painter. He can do wall papering and get things done. He keeps himself busy, he doesn?t need breaks. He worked the 8 hours straight. He?s easy to get along with and is very flexible. Update: He had to schedule another date to finish the work and he booked the next appointment for a month away. His humor and demeanor changed completely during his second visit. He would take a cigarette break every 30 mins. And made comments about my teenage daughter being rude. There are still spots that he has missed near my window sill.

I called Monday. He asked me to call back Tuesday (I assumed it was because it was Patriot's Day - a holiday in MA). I called Tuesday and scheduled an appointment to come do an estimate on Wednesday. He never showed. He never called back. It's now Monday, and I've given up on this provider and will be looking elsewhere.

All went very well. Don's a 'talker' but also a good worker.

DJ showed up on time, and ready to work, was able to paint two bedrooms and cleanup in 1 day and was very friendly, i would definatly recommend DJ to anyone in the future, even after running out of paint he stuck around for us to get another quart for him to finish the job. everything looks great, thank you DJ for the great work !

It was fine. He did it in the time that he said he would do it and it was perfect. His professionalism was fine. He came here, did the job and it was perfect. 4.00 to 4.04 and I like him. The price was fine and I cannot complain. The quality was really good. He responded right away and he was very punctual. He was here at the time he was supposed to be here and finished the job. He was very good.

No work performed yet...but looking at using the deal in the spring.

It all went great, DJ was super, I can't wait to have him come back and redo my living room and bedroom!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this provider. The provider contacted me right away to let me know that it was out of their service area. I was able to get a refund for the Big Deal.

It was great. He worked with me on rescheduling the appointment. He also was right on time and very professional. He did a great job. It was exactly what I wanted. The room looks great. He was very easy to talk to and pleasant to talk to. Well worth the money.

He was slower than we expected. It took at least twice as long as we expected.

Angie"s reimbursed me since the work couldn't be done.
