Excellent from the start. Good communication, work completed in one day. Supervisor was professional and answered all questions. Clean up could've been a little better. Overall fantastic company.

Excellent, I was referred To REI by a friend in 2006 starting with a new roof and gutters. I loved them and since then I have used them when I need any of the services they provide. If I have any questions I call or email REI and they are prompt to respond and always stand by their work. Nick, the owner, and his crew showed up on time and finished when they said they would. They meticulously cleaned up during and after the job was completed. My neighbors and another roofer commented on what a nice job they did. I live on a hill and access was tricky and could be dangerous but they found a way to replace the roof and gutters without a problem. I wish I could find more contractors like Nick the owner.

All went smoothly. Responded promptly to my inital inquiry and provided onsite assessment, followed with an estimate of charges. Estimate was consistent with two others I received. Not push, but definitely showed interest in being hired for the job. Work crew arrived early in the morning -- worked on two of the hottest days of the summer. Roof looks great. New chimney flashing stopped leaks. Cleaned up very nicely when they were done. Acommodated my schedule. All in all, a smooth transaction.

2 voicemails left, never got back a call. UPDATEL Rating changed to C because they took the time to at least respond to the review.

It went perfectly. Nick is extremely professional and on top of every detail. His response time to questions (and I had a lot) was so quick it was amazing. His estimate was was right on target and he completed the job in one day. His crew showed up on time, got right to work and didn't stop until the work was done. They were even extra careful to make sure my cat did not get out which I so appreciated. They cleaned up everything and you would never know they were there. My neighbors are now getting estimates for their roofs. Nick also recommended other quality professionals for other types of work I needed on my house and they also proved to be excellent. I can't say enough good things about this company and will have them back when I replace more windows. Hire them.

The crew was here around 7:15 am, as stated, ready to go. I came home from work around 5:00 to find them finishing up. The crew was fast and neat, and were back the next morning to finish tidying up in the yard and driveway. The job was done right and the right price, several thousands of dollars less than a couple competitors. I would highly recommend REI to anyone.

REI replaced 2 other houses on our street, and we really liked the look of those roofs when the jobs were complete. Our roof started leaking, so we called several roofing companies for estimates, including REI. The owner, Nick, came over to to the estimate for REI, and he was very professional and thorough. His estimate was much lower than some of the other companies, and we already knew they did good work, so we went with them. Nick was here throughout most of the job, and his employees were very hard-working, professional people. When the job was complete, they did a very thorough job cleaning up all of the nails, etc, and our roof looks amazing! I already recommend REI to anyone I know who needs their roof replaced.

When I sent a request for a quote for what I required, I was contacted within 24 hours. I was given a cost right over the phone and told it may take up to 2 weeks to get to my repairs which was fine. The very next day, I got a call asking if arriving within the next 2 hours was possible. Of course it was! I was greeted by a gentleman that listened to my problem and explained to me what was an was not possible and what he planned to do to solve my problem. He immediately spotted the worn out asphalt shingles and went to work sealing all of them. In less than 2 hours, was problem had been remedied. When I asked if it was OK to call if future leaks were to appear, I was told "Absolutely". I thought I would be told that because of the age an condition of the shingles, there wouldn't be much they could do. Knowing I could call again and not be told "Sorry", was very reassuring. I have waited until the roof was subjected to heavy wind and rain before writing this review. I am happy to report that my ceiling is still dry. The sealing worked and the problem fixed. I have nothing but the highest praise for Nick, his employees and the way he conducts his business.

During the sandy hurricane a tree fell on my house damaging the roof, rafters, gutter & siding. Also there was some water damage to the insulation and ceiling. Nick promptly quoted and quickly repaired all of the damage. He was easy to work with and REI did a great Job. I recommend this company.

We had a leak in our 10 year old roof. Given the number of eaves on the house, it was difficult to find the source (we asked several different professionals and no one could identify with confidence). So, we got several bids. Nick's was reasonable, he explained everything very clearly and I trusted him. The team came, replaced the roof, and cleaned up afterwards. I am happy to report that the leak is gone!

Nick was thorough in looking the job over and prompt in his estimate. The roof started on time was essentially done in one day. Quality materials and installation.

Nick is very responsive and scheduled the job very quickly. There were a few bumps along the way with some damage to an awning and the workers failing to replace a piece of wood that was damaged, however Nick immediately fixed the problems and compensated me for the damage. REI used subcontractors to do the work which likely led to the few issues, however they did a very nice job and an incredibly thorough cleanup. A neighbor even commented that you couldn't even tell they had been here once they left. I would recommend REI. Nick will make sure everything is perfect and is very easy to deal with.

Meet several times to discuss various issues. They offered several options. Sttod by there estimate. Even when they decide they could put in a standard roof on a lower roof but decided it needed a rubber roof and they absorbed the cost.

I felt that Residential Exteriors Inc. was very thorough with their proposal and their explanation of how they were going to do the job. I thought the price was pretty competitive based on the services that I received.

How great to have someone you can trust to check it and fix it!!!!!

Replaced: Roof, dormer siding, and gutters. Installed new: trim siding, bay window, screen door, and chimney cap. Estimates done well and were fair+honest. Installation was great, done quickly and good quality, REI addressed any issues or concerns I had quickly and without question.

From sales to delivery the entire team provided a high quality service. They delivered exactly what was agreed upon - no hiden costs, no delays. All went according to plan - on time and on budget. I would recommend them

They did the whole roof in one day and my garage roof on a separate day. They came in at 7AM. There was 7 people doing the job and not a single thing left in the yard, not even a single nail. By the afternoon, the only thing I noticed was a new roof. They put ice guard on as well. It's certified for 30 years.

REI did a great job removing and replacing the skylight. The original work quote misjudged the work needed to install the new skylight, but the extra effort was undertaken without any extra cost to me. Scheduling was difficult due to my time constraints and the monsoon season here in Boston, but REI was able to schedule and get the job done pretty much as soon as I let them know I had returned from vacation-they were very excellent regarding scheduling. Cleanup afterwards could have been a touch better-their vacuum was not working perfectly-but overall they did a very good job with the entire job. They ran out of pieces of slate to cover the roof but returned the next day at their expense to finish the job.
