My family and I have used Kent's services a couple times and we've been continuously impressed with the work he's done. He's very considerate, honest, and easy to work with. The first time we worked with him was about a year and a half ago. He took down the wall between our kitchen and dining room. The job was speedily completed, his pricing was quite competitive, and we were thrilled with the finished result. The second time we used him was on our staircase, where he removed part of the wall and added railings. Again, we were very pleased with the end result, which was expertly completed and looked beautiful. We'd recommend his services to any of our friends and family.

Kent was very professional and honest. He and his co-worker arrived on time, finished the job in one day and did a great job. No complaints whatsoever and plan to use his company in the future.

Kent is one of the most professional contractors I have worked with, thus he is in demand and is sometimes not the easiest person to reach. Once we finally reached him, he agreed to come out and review the job. He was timely and gave me a good price, Once the job got underway we found that the extent to damage caused by wood rot was worse than we expected. The Sill Plate, Studs, Sheathing, Clapboard, Fascia and Trim boards all needed to be replaced. Due to the age of the house(1860) the dimensions of lumber did not match exactly. Kent was able to cut the lumber to match the old dimensions and made all needed repairs within the time I needed.

Kent was prompt and professional. After searching around for quite some time trying to find a reliable contractor to remove a load bearing wall between my kitchen and dining room, I found Kent here on Angie's list. Best contact I've made here so far! Kent knew exactly what needed to be done. I have a family friend who is a GC in central Mass who I have talk to anyone who comes to my home. Well, he was convinced that Kent was the man for the job after speaking with him for 5 minutes. The whole job took about 3 days. We are very satisfied with the work that was done. He even went the extra mile when I asked about our leaky toilet. Turned out it needed a new wax ring. Kent performed the work for no additional cost. He's a great guy who I'd gladly hire again and again!

Kent is THE MAN!!! There is nothing that this man cant fix. Called me back right away... Totally professional and very nice. I had a few things to fix in my house before we put it on the market to sell. Well once Kent got here, my list kept growing and growing when I saw how he was so good at his job. He is the jack of all trades. He retiled my tub... Btw, other contractors quoted me $3,000 and said I had to get a new surround...Also patched up a hole in my ceiling... Fixed a track light in my kitchen... Mortared my front steps that had been falling apart... And then fixed my lawnmower!!! And did this all in a little over a day. From past experiences, people have tried to overcharge me or take their time if they are getting paid hourly. Kent worked so fast and efficiently, He never even took a break or slowed down for a second. But not only was he fast, his work is top notch. He is a total perfectionist and has pride in his craft, as he should. He really did an amazing job on everything. He also was super neat and cleaned up as he went along. Totally honest and fairly priced. It is so hard to find trustworthy, good people who have pride in what they do. Kent totally went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I wish we had found him years ago, but I know we will call him first if anything ever needs to be fixed.

After a mutual miscommunication about service location Kent and crew rescheduled very quickly and conveniently and did a great job. Carpets look and smell fabulous.

This is the third time our condo board has hired Kent Albrecht to do work for us. We have always been totally pleased with the outcome. He responds when called about a job. He shows up to get information for an estimate. He is totally professional and a good guy to work with. His work is beautifully done and his charges are pretty close to his estimate. He gives copies of all receipts for supplies purchased for the job. We will definitely hire him again in the future.

Kent is not your typical contractor/service provider. His work ethic is far higher than the average, and he is sometimes more demanding on himself than the client. Above all he is honest, which for many means a lot. He will charge for hours worked. I meant to submit a review for some time now, because Kent worked at our residence half a dozen times or more in the past couple of years. Even though he is very busy, he is able to manage his schedule meaningfully. With a little flexibility, we were able to get the jobs done.

Kent is a wonderful artisan who knows his craft. He convinced me to repair my front screen door rather than replace it and I am so happy that I did. The door was restored and made to look like new. Kent even replaced a lock on another door for no charge. My only issue is that I can't seem to get Kent back to start the two other jobs I've asked him to complete. Kent is worth the wait and I still would like to have him back to complete the second screen door and replace my back stairs.

Kent was great to work with. He Installed Crown Molding in 3 rooms. Called him and set up a time for an estimate and was honest in how long the job would take and the tricky parts of the gig. Locked down a date and time with Kent to do the gig. He was flexibile and was able to get the job done in shorter amount of time then he thought (8 hours was projected, he did it in 7.5). He charges hourly so his honesty was appreciated. He did the job well, picked up after himself and would use again.

Dave came and looked at the job, got the parts he needed, and installed them several days later. It took a little over a week beginning to end.

Kent came the week before to look over the job, gave me an approximate cost, and the time he thought it would take. He showed up on time, and worked until the job was done. He got the job done in less time than he had estimated, and charged accordinglly. He did an excellent job, and we're very pleased with his work.

He was professional, showed up on time, and was honest and forthright with his knowledge, skills and capabilities. There were a couple of projects that were beyond his capabilities, and he didn't b.s. around and said we should get more focused contractors (e.g. gutters and some foundation work). I would certainly consider using him in the future.

Kent called to confirm our appointment and arrived on time. He removed the poorly applied compound on the wall above the kitchen base cabinets and repaired the wall with new board. A previous contractor had abandoned the job without completing the work and the wall was uneven with one part 1/2 inch higher than the other and lumpy where he used too much compound. Kent brought the wall up to an even level where the board met the plaster and sealed all edges and seams and sanded the final layer to make it ready for paint (which I will be doing myself). The wall now looks clean and smooth and you can't see where any repair was done. It looks great. He also installed a vertical support for the new countertop which will be installed at a later date. He vacuumed and wiped the floor down after. Kent also took away the old metal cabinet that the previous contractor had left in my driveway. He did excellent work. I am satisfied and would recommend him highly to anyone.
