concrete repair
+ -1 moreThe project started a week later than originally scheduled. Two weeks passed before they continued. No proactive communication and infrequent responses to voicemails throughout the process. Several frustrating outcomes with the "final" product. First, they didn't explain a grading problem the concrete patio would create on our lawn (which slopes). I assumed they'd pour the concrete deep to meet the grade of the slope. Instead they left the slab hanging as much as 8" above grade. Now I've got to built a retaining wall in this area so the material under the concrete doesn't erode. The most frustrating thing has been a pile of excess concrete that they dumped in the corner of my lot without permission. Despite promising to come back to remove it, they never showed and don't return calls. Ultimately the stamped concrete surface looks good. It seems that all they're good at is the surface itself. Don't expect them to clean up, offer expert advice, or be timely.
Description of Work: Total of 400 sq feet of concrete surface for a patio and front walk. The concrete was stamped, colored, and sealed.
