Dennis is a no nonsense businessman. I appreciate that he was straight forward and upfront with concerns and ideas for the renovation. Dennis installed all new wiring and outlets to a bedroom renovation, ran new wiring throughout the basement, and removed the old wiring. Dennis discovered that the wiring to the living room needed to be addressed and he went straight to work fixing those issues, and installed three extra outlets without increasing the price/bid. The job was done in one day and Dennis moved quickly and never took a break. Dennis was also cool with me watching and helping, which I'm sure can be annoying to contractors. Will hire him again!

I called Dennis on a Thursday night with a tight Sunday deadline and he was here first thing Saturday morning. Dennis was professional and confident in what needed to be done to return this light fixture to safe operation. Many times he reiterated the importance of homeowners doing work, especially electrical, the right way to ensure everything is safe. Dennis works fast so if you are trying to learn make sure to pay attention. Even though he was working fast he had no problem answering any questions that I had. I would most definitely hire Dennis again, it's refreshing to find an honest local contractor in any field and I'm confident that Dennis is just that.

This guy is great. It's his own business so he's fair and not overpriced like those larger electrical companies. He was honest and straight forward, correct the problem and I'm having him back out in the spring when we are going to relocate the hot tub for him to rewire this. Great local guy making a living doing honest work. What more can one ask. We just moved here to Quincy so now we have an electrician for our needs here in Quincy.

Dennis and his co-worker were fantastic. I called Dennis on Monday and explained that I had a plumber coming Friday to replace a vanity and wanted the light changed before that work began. He asked me to send a photo of the light, which I did and we then spoke about the project. He came on Tuesday between other jobs to make sure that it was done before the plumber started. My house is from 1927, so he had to adapt some things. However, he made everything work and was efficient and professional. He was so good that I asked him to give an estimate on other work. He charges $160.00 per hour for a service call. I'm not sure how that compares to others, but I felt that he was well worth it.

Went great. Dennis was proactive, responsive and reliable. Recommend.

Dennis was responsive and able to come at a convenient time. He could have come the next day but that did not work with my work schedule. He was flexible and even waited a few minutes as I got stuck in traffic. He did a great job reinstalling the light and was even able to fix the fact that the contractor had cut the whole in the ceiling too large. He was quick and professional.

Dennis did an excellent job replacing old wiring in my basement, replaced the fuse box and he fixed a faulty light switch in my hallway. He was very prompt and pleasant and had a very professional manner , he knew exactly what he was doing and was very quick to solve the problem and get the job done the same day. I would highly recommend Dennis for anybody that needs electrical work done, I will be using him for my electrician in the future.

Dennis came out the day after his vacation to give an estimate. His price seemed reasonable given that the job was involved and required a lot of wire. He arrived the next day early and was finished in about 2 hrs. In running the wire, another electrical issue developed. A 1st floor circuit went dead. Dennis took another 1/2 hour and trouble shot the issue. Turned out to be a loose connection in a junction box. It was minor but Dennis quickly tightened the connection and power was restored. I'd have this guy back. He knows what he's doing

Dennis showed up right on time he was actually early. He got right to work and and inspected all the receptacles in my unit. He was here for about 40 minutes. I would hire him for any task involving elecrical

Job is partly done. Dennis will return with more switches and to replace a repaired sconce. He was here 1/12 - 2 hr. We liked him

in apparent desire to do exactly what i wanted done, many questions were asked while work proceeded. though i gave him a light fixture, outlet and wire, he installed what he wanted to install (indluding hanger) for the light fixture...i had to insist he remove what he installed and use what i gave him....had difficulty communicating...we both parted on less that amicable terms i suggest that while work is being done you be there to see that what is being done is exactly what you want done (despite his frequent questions, communication still seemed to be a problem)

Dennis was able to come the day after I called. He was prompt, professional, quick to diagnose my problem and replaced 2 circuit breakers. I would use him again for any electrical needs.

Bid only, selected another provider. Bid was 80% higher than the provider I selected. Bid was somewhat vague, not specific enough.

Dennis was great - responded to a same day call on a Saturday - our electrical water heater wasn't working and it turned out it was a broken breaker. I thought the price was a bit steep but Dennis was upfront before he came about his callout cost so not harm on that point. Would definitely call him again.

When I called Dennis, I explained to him that my kitchen light wasn't working. He thought it was the light fitting and advised me to buy a new light fitting before out appointment the next day to save time and money. As it turned out, it was the light fitting that needed to be replaced. I decided to have the other kitchen light fitting replaced at the same time. Dennis was punctual, polite, and knew what he was doing. I will call Dennis again when we next need an electrician.

Dennis is everything you want in a contractor. Responded promptly to our request for an estimate. Arrived when he said he was going to. Was thorough in his explanation of the job and cost. Timely scheduling of the work, taking into account our schedule. Reasonable prices. Great attitude and professionalism. Quality workmanship which he clearly takes pride in. Cleaned everything up before leaving. He is the only one we will call for any electrical needs we have in the future.

I wish I could give Dennis higher than an A. He was punctual, professional, and did great work for a great price in a very timely manner. He came to my house on my schedule and rewired most of my first floor, while taking the time to fix some other issues we had with the kitchen light, and double checking that the knob and tube in my attic was indeed disconnected. Dennis confirmed the locations of the new switches with me before finishing the new set-up. He also ran to Home Depot for me when the new living room light I bought was broken. Can't be more pleased. I would definitely use him again without a doubt!!!!

WELL...I COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A MORE DECENT PERSON TO DO THE WORK THAT I WANTED ACCOMPLISHED! BY EXPLAINING EACH STEP THAT HE WAS GOING TO TAKE, MY COMPREHENSION WAS BETTER AND MORE RESTED! ALL OF HIS WORK SEEMED FLAWLESS. HIS DIAGNOSTIC ABILITIES WERE RIGHT ON SINCE CHILDHOOD, I HAVE HELD A FEAR OF ELECTRICITY. DENNIS COULD PUT THIS FEAR TO REST, WHO WOULD EXPECT AN ELECTRICIAN WITH A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR? YET, AS EASY AS A LAUGH I AM, I COULDN'T LAUGH ABOUT SOMETHING SO SERIOUS AS ELECTRICITY. DENNIS DID A COMEDY ROUTINE ABOUT ELECTRICITY. THIS MAN IS GENUINELY FUNNY WITH A WRY SENSE OF HUMOR. YEAH! HIS WORK WAS BETTER THAN PERFECT! I WOULD CALL HIM TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB IF NEEDED {BECAUSE HE WOULD HAVE NO DIFFICULTY WITH IT OR ANYTHING ELSE ELECTRICAL} CALL THIS GUY! GET YOUR ELECTRICAL NEEDS FULFILLED. HE IS REASONABLY PRICED...QUICK TO GET THE JOB DONE, CALLED TO SAY THAT TRAFFIC WAS ABOMINABLE WHICH WAS GOING TO DELAY HIS ARRIVAL TIME, COURTEOUS, ABLE, & HUMOROUS. CALLED ON WEDNESDAY; WORK COMPLETED ON THURSDAY! YEAH!

Advanced Electrical was very professional in handling my bathroom upgrade. They were hired to install a GFI plug, a Panasonic bathroom fan/light, and vanity lighting. The job required a permit so Dennis had to deal with the city's Inspectional Services and he handled everything with professionalism. Made the project go very smoothly and finished everything within the window frame he said he was. Very satisfied with everything.

Dennis was very knowledgeable and his work was very neat and professional. He accomodated the short window timeframe I had to complete the project which was very important for me. I am very happy with the turnout and would highly recommend Advaned Electrical to anyone looking for an electrician!
