Description of Work: Remodel on a seasonal cottage at Hampton Beach. Main focus was the kitchen, nut it was a larger project than that including removing a wall, replacing exterior widows and doors, refinishing floors and adding new flooring in the kitchen. Doing a remodel remotely (for me) posed many challenges, delays etc.. None of that was under Jay's control and I must say that I am thrilled with the result of the work. Jay and all of his team including plumbing and electrical professionals did a phenomenal job and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Description of Work: Jay had come so highly recommended by my closest friend I did not hesitate to hire him for my project. On his initial visit, Jay called in his Andersen window representative to the house to discuss my options and choices for the space. Order placed same day and several weeks later Jay & Crew started the project. Since I work at home, my schedule was flexible, but I had a 4 legged daughter who doesn't take a liking to strangers in the house. Jay gave me plenty of notice so I could make arrangements for my dog not to be home during construction. Him and his crew were always on time and I noted immediately very respectful of my property. Let's be honest, while we love to have our remodeling dreams come true, we hate having contractors in the house with those work boots!! Each day, they vacuumed the dining room and swept from the floor to the door! Oh...and the result? A once small looking dining room transformed! Extremely happy with the quality if his work & thinking of my next project......

Description of Work: Built a 2-story addition. Flaws everywhere ranging from out of level, out of plumb, poor workmanship. Clapboards out of level. Fascia/soffets 1.5" - 2" out of level over only a 12' and a 6' spans! Over an 11' span which had 3 windows, the gap on one side was 6" and then 7" on the other side - over only 11 feet! He had me cancel a check payment because he preferred numerous checks at $10K or less which I thought very shady. Had to backfill foundation a second time myself because I had a moat after rainfall. Had to take leftover scrap and renovation materials and pay to have dumped because he never came back to do it. I paid extra for fiberglass reinforced concrete, but got regular and there are cracks everywhere. Would have had better luck hiring a team of kids out of Vocational High School than this guy. I would invite anyone to my home, at any time for a tour. Hire at your own peril.

Description of Work: Jay and his crew installed Hardwood floors, custom built in cabinetry, a custom mantle, tiled 3 fireplaces, installed a new sliding door. | |I was very happy with the work done by Jay and his crew. I look forward to doing business with him again.

Description of Work: Kitchen makeover including refinishing cabinets. installation of granite countertops. installation of microwave/range hood. Installation of new vanities and tile floors for bathrooms. home office installation including radiant floor heating and tiling floors. upgraded electrical panel, installation of laminate hard woods in bedrooms. remodeled bedroom including building a new closet. Installed ceiling fans and new lighting fixtures.
