Description of Work: This was a ripoff service for the job so poorly done. I hired this company to install 6 windows and a door in May 2015. After many months of waiting the job was finally done in November 2015. And it was less than satisfactory.

Description of Work: We had all the windows replaced, tilt out windows and screens in a big Victorian home facing the water. I had some double and triple glazing that people may not need.

 + -1 moreHowever, our biggest complaint is in regard to the roof installation. The first rainstorm after they were gone the roof started to leak by the chimney. They came out and spread tar on the spot that leaked. A short time later bubbles started forming on our kitchen ceiling below the plumbing vent penetration. They came out and looked at the roof and said that nothing was wrong. As time went on the bubbles got worse. After the bubbles kept getting larger I called and left a message for the owner. He came out and saw the bubbles and had his "roof guy" look at it. There was a piece of wood stuck in the boot around the vent pipe. They never offered to fix the ceiling. Since then the sky light on the north side of the roof and the front of the house leak every time we get weather from the north east. Today we are in the middle of the outer bands of hurricane Sandy and roof shingles are flying off the roof. I picked up two shingles and noticed that the plastic tape that covers the adhesive was never removed. This discovery explains a lot. I would never recommend this contractor for anything.
Description of Work: Hi -tech installed both vinyl siding and a new roof. We had them do both thinking that they would better coordinate each job. The carpenters that did the siding did a decent job and were professional. However as time went by, gaps have opened up between the ends of some of the rows of siding. Especially in the winter.
