I called Glenn and left a message. Within 10 minutes he called me back. I explained what work I needed done and that I have a very odd schedule. He was very accommodating and worked around my schedule. He works 7 days a week which was very helpful. It took him less than an hour to install 9 new smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. I already have more jobs planned I would like him to do. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.

Called Glenn to discuss some lights that I needed to be installed and provided some great ideas of what types of lights I could get installed. He was very accommodating and fit me into his schedule quickly. He came on two Saturdays to install the lights and ceiling fan so I didn't have to take work off. He did an excellent job, and he is extremely friendly and would definitely trust him. Glenn is an excellent electrician and even better person. I would highly recommend him!!

I called on a Saturday to make an appointment for the following week but he was available and came within the hour. He looked at the situation, brought in his tools and 45 minutes later we had lighting everywhere. Glenn was knowledgable, professional , and friendly. Admittedly this was not a major job but it was a major annoyance to us and his immediate response and availablity to come that same day was a real bonus. We would use him again for any variety of electrical work.

He came out and did the work for me. He was great. I think he is wonderful. I intend to do the review and put him on the page of happiness. I think he is just fabulous. I was very, very impressed with him. I bought a Big Deal coupon for $99 for $200 worth of electrical services. Everybody in the world except me wants gas and I knew I was going to need an outlet. I had seen this apartment and I saw an outlet and at that time I didn’t realize the outlet for electric dryer and electric stove are not the same. I thought I was all set and just to be on the safe side I get the special. When I got here and I moved in I made the discoveries and they both are 220 outlets and it’s not the voltage but the amperage. On the dryer it is 30 amps but on the stove it is 50 to 60, so I needed to get a second outlet. It is extremely expensive and $200 for one plug. The determining factor is the distance they have to run the wires from the box to where I want the plug, so the longer the distance the more I pay. The wire for that stuff is astronomical. I knew it is going to be a big deal. I ended up calling the other company to setup the appointment and when I called she said I will get $149 worth because they have $51 service charge. I was stunned and I couldn’t find that anywhere. I feel it was a little bit too dear. I called this guy and here’s where I start getting impressed and believe me it takes a lot to impress me. The guy comes out and he came out the next day and it was his birthday but I wouldn’t work on my birthday and I was so impressed. He told me he will give me an estimate and send it to my email in the night and he did that night. I called the next day and set up an appointment. He came out with a helper. We had an exceptionally cold day and he was a little coughed up and he called to tell me that he was going to be late. He told me what time he would be here and he was here with the other guy and got to work and got it done in couple of hours. Since I just moved in they had to drill in and it was a little messy. When the first time he came in he put on booties and nobody else has ever done that. My basement as I found out from him has a third floor so he had the booties on coming up and down from the basement. He said he will clean up all the mess but I didn’t have the broom as I didn’t know where it is. He went outside to a shop and came back with a broom and cleaned all the stuff. His service was excellent. He was excellent and so good that I had a friend that had to have some electrical work done and I didn’t have his card and I referred him to her via email. After I had him come out for the quote this guy actually sent me a thank you note, somebody doing that kind of service and thanking me, is extremely unusual. After he finished the work he said he would send the invoice and copy of the bill and I said not to bother and I will pay by check. I got the invoice in the mail and the copy of the bill for the stuff that he bought that’s how I can say how expensive that wire is. He sent me itemized invoice and also a copy of the bill were he bought stuff to do the work and that’s what I am talking about. If I thought I was being overcharged, certainly that was not the case. I had quotes from $300 to $500. He was an electrician dealing with woman in the house and they don’t have to be all that nice as they usually tend to dodge me. I was looking for an electrician and not a friend but however in this case I found a friend. I can’t say enough good things about this guy. It wasn’t very long considering what they had to do.

The home inspection performed by a potential buyer revealed some live knob and tube wiring, so we asked Mr. Waning for an estimate. He came out promptly, gave us and estimate, explaining what he felt was the most appropriate course of action, and performed the work listed in his estimate, all on a very compressed time schedule. The work was done in a timely and professional manner, the only glitch being the doorbell stopped working after the work was done. Mr. Waning came back and addressed that problem the day after we called him.

The work was fairly straight forward, Glen's service was exceptional. Hecut corners where it made sense but always checked with me first. As a result I got a ton of great work out of the guy for a very reasonable price. I've used him before for much more complicated work involving rerouting a horribly wired service supplying my house and he did a great job then as well. Again for a great price. He's fair and honest. Can't be beat.

Glenn was very responsive from my first voicemail to him seeking an estimate. We found his price to be the best among all of the estimates we obtained. He always returned calls and emails within a very reasonable amount of time. His work was all within the estimates he provided. It turned out that the dimmers he'd initially installed for the LED lights caused them to hum. Glenn came back and installed different dimmers and the problem was rectified promptly. When installing 4 of the recessed lights, Glenn and his team removed an existing ceiling fan and relocated it to center it within the new lights at no additional cost. Glenn and his team were all very polite and cleaned up after themselves.

Glenn was originally recommended to me by my realtor when I was in the process of purchasing my home. The home inspector noted that there was a possibility of knob and tube wiring in the old house and for insurance reasons I needed to have an electrician look at the property to say for sure. Glenn came out to give me the all clear for the insurance company. While he was there he also gave me an estimate for the list of items the home inspector recommended I fix. As soon as I had purchased the home I called back Glenn and he and his assistant arrived on time on the agreed day. While they were working they also discovered additional items that needed attention. They worked quickly and efficiently. I particularly appreciated that Glenn always kept me in the loop of what was going on while they were there. As the day went on I became increasingly nervous that the end price was going to be on the far end of the estimate. They worked from 10am to 4pm and completed all the items on the list except for 2 that would take a little longer. There were also a few things that they noticed needed work that could also be put off for another day. Glenn stayed true to the original estimate of the corrections. Even thought there were a lot of fixes they worked so fast that the hourly rate saved me from a high bill. I will ABSOLUTELY call Glenn back to continue the work on my home. They fixed so much so fast!

I've already said everything needed, just let me add, if there is any other electrical work in my house, Glen is the Man!
