I have never met a more professional contractor in my many years as a home owner. I contacted 4 companies in total off of Angie's list and only cove-rite actually came to the property took all measurements twice ( 1 for the estimate and the other right and the other a day before installation). The manager Jen gave me separate estimates for gutters and down spouts alone then with the gutter guards which i didn't need and they never tried to force the up-sell. Every other company i spoke with wanted me to make my own measurements and send them the info, then they eventually got back to me with the estimate. For the record Cover-rite was within a few dollars of the other estimates so they sold themselves for me on their quality of service. The contractors from Cover-Rite had to return 3 times due to the weather but they came back every day till the job was done. the quality of the work was exceptional and very clean. they listened to my thoughts and expectations and went beyond them making suggestion that right on target. The whole project took them about a day ( taking the weather out of it). If I ever need any other work done they will be the first people i call !

Jack came to scope out the work to be done and was very thorough in checking out the house. A no-nonsense crew removed the old roof, did repairs, and installed the new roof, doing a great job and cleaning up afterwards, all in one day. A different day they replaced the siding and re-did the flat porch roof. The house looks great and the roof did not leak.

We just had all our windows replaced by Cover Rite and they look great! Jack, Jen, and Shane did a great job installing the windows and aluminum outside trim. They worked quickly and were all pleasant to have in the house. They took the time to explain how to operate the windows and even gave us wooden inserts for our air conditioner installation in the spring. The house and yard were left clean and without debris. I gladly recommend Cover Rite to anyone.

Owner showed up with helper. Replaced damaged trim at roof peak. Job took about an hour. Charged minimum for emergency response. Happy with work done.

They are excellent. When they say the job will be done it will be done. They always answer the phone and call me back. He is definitely a go to guy for vinyl siding. He was referred to me by my neighbor. They clean everything up and don’t leave the house a mess. The scheduling has been excellent.

I didn't use them. There was no charge for the proposal they gave me. They were good, and would have done a good job but I just found a siding product more to my liking.

We had our house built in 1996. They did the vinyl siding. Through the years we had some weather damage to it and the guy has been avoiding us ever since. We have talked with him- we even run an ice cream business and he popped in for some ice cream and we told him we had some damage; can he come out and do an estimate? That was years ago, he just doesn't do follow through. The last time we spoke to them was in 2005, we left messages up to August of last year and still no response. We have some fancy tiles that are on the side of our house and they are supposed to be guaranteed for a lifetime. The initial job was very good. The siding is still good. The special siding we had put up is starting to discolour. It cost about five grand in 1996. When they were doing the job, they were here on time and did a very good job.

Overall a great experience. A quality team using great materials and staying on time and within budget. And all around nice people. They get the highest recommendation.
Description of Work: It was time to paint the house again and I was just not ready for it. My neighbor across the street had vinyl siding and new windows done last year by Cover Rite and was very happy with the job. We talked for a while about the experience and he told me that working with Jack and his team, actually his family, had been great. They did quality work at a fair price. I called Jack and he came out and gave us an estimate for siding the house. Based on some research I had done it seemed like a very fair price and we decided to go ahead with the job. Cover Rite is a family business with Jack's son, daughter and other relatives making up the crew. They are friendly, and child-friendly, come when they say they will, clean up after themselves. They did a great job on schedule and within the original quote. Under the original contract, they put vinyl siding on the house, a 5 bedroom 2.5 story colonial, and a detatched garage and new gutters and downspouts all around. In that scope they also replaced a number of wood trim pieces that were in poor condition. I was pleased enough with their work to request quotes to replace the roof on the house, a flat roof on an attached porch, and install a new bedroom window. After a little haggling over the price we had this work done as well. The front porch deck also needed repair/replacement and Jack and his team did this for the cost of the material, no labor.
