The most rude and unprofessional place you can imagine. I had 2 fire places installed and they were HACKS. They claimed they insulated and simply did not. Guyiene, the owner, was mean and extremely rude on the phone. Overall, you are at a enormous DISADVANTAGE if you use these crooks. STAY AWAY!!

As previously mentioned the install of the blower went great. I could not have been happier. Unfortunately after utilizing the fireplace and blower for several days it became apparent the output from the fireplace had not changed from before the blower was installed. I turned the fireplace and the blower up as high as they could go but still no change. I called their office to let them know it did not appear to be working properly. I explained that the chair I sit in is approximately 10 feet from the fireplace but I could not feel the heat, while the literature for the blower states that it can accommodate up to 1000 sq ft of living space. They told me that the reason I wasn't feeling the heat from the fireplace was likely due to the fireplace only being, I believe they said a 20k BTU fireplace and it is not a very good one. I called Advantage Fireplace for the blower because they were the company that installed the fireplace when my house was built two years ago. They were hired by the contractor and I was not involved in the selection of the fireplace. I told them that I have to stand right in front of the fireplace to feel anything and I would have expected the blower to, at a minimum be able to blow the heat 10 feet to where I sit. I asked if there was a way to retrofit the fireplace and they said no, that I would have to replace it. I told them that it would have been nice if they told me that before I paid $400 for a blower and they chuckled and said sorry. While I paid them to install a blower, which they did, I think they should have told me that the fireplace wasn't powerful enough for the blower to matter rather than just make a sale a customer wouldn't be happy with. Had they made me aware up front I probably would have looked into replacing the fireplace, spending more than $400, but they would have had a satisfied customer. Instead they have a disgruntled customer that feels they beat me out of $400.
Description of Work: I had a blower installed for my fireplace. The office support were very responsive and organized. The installer, Matt was fantastic. It snowed earlier that day and when I went to open the door he was already taking his boots off. He was extremely neat and clean. He even cleaned the glass and spray painted pieces of the fireplace to make it look brand new. He was fast and thorough. Highly recommended.

-Had what I thought was a similar failure of my gas fireplace that was fixed in March of this year which was fixed satisfactorily by Advantage. Matt said to call if it should fail in the near future. It appeared to fail 8 months later. -Called Advantage to come check it out. -Receptionist said they no longer service fireplace units they did not install, but could call me back after January if they had an opening. I could not convince her otherwise (i.e., "Matt said to call, I am a customer, can't wait two months for a fireplace repair"). -So, if you are not already a customer (installation required) and are in any hurry for maintenance service, go elsewhere. -They might be fine for new installations of a complete system. (see my previous review of this company)

They scheduled me within a week, sent out two technicians, and performed a maintenance service on my Lennox fireplace. I'd had a hard time finding anyone to service my Lennox gas fireplace, but they did and were real pros. They emailed me a service contract that outlined what the service included and the price for any parts should they need replacing. They came out on time, did the service, and fixed a broken part (which had been broken since we'd moved into the house a dozen years earlier). I'll definitely go back to them the next time I need help with the fireplace.

Before I found Advantage Fireplace I contacted ~ 5 other fireplace vendors, sent emails, left voice messages, ... no one seemed to want the work. Then one day I found http://www.advantagefireplace.com/ so I sent an email, explained what I needed, ... and and lt; 5 mins later I had an email response with a price, and lt; 10 mins later I had a chat with Tina and the job was scheduled! The job was scheduled to be done 2 days after Halloween, the snow storm knocked out my power and I had zero heat, so I emailed Advantage and asked if the conversion could be done 2 days sooner (in order to get some heat). Things worked out and they were able to squeeze me in on Halloween. The conversion went without a hitch!
