He promptly sent me a quote for both a 100 amp service and an upgrade to 200 amps that I had requested although he suggested that 100 amps would probably be fine for the size and use of our house ( he didn't try to oversell me as many contractors do). I requested a certificate of insurance which was quickly sent to me and his team came in, did the work in a clean and thoroughly professional manner. I will certainly use Scott's company again on future projects.
Description of Work: Installed new 100 amp service, remove old meter, added GFI circuit and cleaned up some old issues

Description of Work: We purchased a house that had original electrical and it needed to be updated. SDM Electric installed two bathroom fans, installed two new thermostats for heating system and gas stove, improved the efficiency of the switches/sockets so lights can be turned off, but clocks will stay on, etc., added electrical components for TV/DVD/cable & Internet connections, disconnected and removed old hazardous wiring throughout the house.

Description of Work: I had to have a 220 changed to a 110 plug . . . . PLUS, the previous evening I discovered the outlets on one wall on the lower level were all out, and the gentleman checked everything and discovered that indeed my electrical box had been tripped. I had checked it myself and thought I had clicked them all back, but he found that was not the case. He told me some were a bit more dificult to do. He then checked all my outlets, and told me that the box (I have two), even though it was old was a very good one and that all was well with it. THAT was reassuring. PLUS, he arrived two minutes early!!!

+ 0 moreThey were great! We would definitely use them again. They gave us an estimate, and they stuck with that. We did all of this long distance. They were very thorough and trustworthy.
Description of Work: They installed some electrical outlets, installed recessed lighting in the entry, connected the remote panel for skylights, installed an exterior light fixture by the garage, and bonded a gas line for a gas log fireplace.
