+ -1 more98% of the job ie; main power panel swap was finished in one day which included labeling and testing all circuits in the house. The remainder of work was finished early next day with installation of new ground rods, neatening and dressing of cable wiring previously moved. All went well with no issues to cause any delay. The new panel came out great.
Description of Work: After correction of a recent electrical fault in the building and some evidence of corrosion we decided to replace the existing main 100 amp power panel with a new one that could also accomodate extra circuits.

Description of Work: Sandy McClardy, owner of Zippy Electric is extraordinary. Unbelievable over and beyond service. Super smart and knowledgeable. Able to save us money, but would NEVER cut corners. Extremely professional. Extremely reasonable fees. This man bailed us out big time after Hurricane Sandy when so many others were being ripped off. Our house nearly burned down. Hardly any appliances survived and the wiring damage etc was extensive. We've used this company repeatedly since then and couldn't have been more pleased. Zippy is moving to Cape Cod. Very sad for us, but he left us with many recommendations for the good companies (electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry etc) he's had experience with in his time here in New Jersey. Can't say enough good about our experience with Zippy.

+ -1 moreSandy was awesome. He was responsive, and everything went exactly according to plan despite the extremely cold weather in January. There were no hidden extra charges or delays. Everything was perfect. Yesterday, the power was down and he immediately called me to make sure that the generator was working properly, which was the case.
Description of Work: Sandy installed a 14KW permanent gas generator.
