Jeff and Dan did the work, although the weather didn't cooperate, they have finished the job and then some! They did an excellent job and went above and beyond. Jeff was very pleasant and informative and a great painter. Dan is very talented and a lot of rotted wood and fixed my awning. He created a longer awning that looks great and is exacted what I wanted! They,re a great team and would without a doubt use them again! Thank you Jeff and Dan and Mike

It was kind of a social experience. The roof area estimate was a little bit suspicious because the estimate was larger than the estimate of the other company so the price was higher than that of the other company. I would not use them again in the future.

Mike recommended Ely Mantini Construction Company. 375 Compass Clr, Hyannis,MA 02601. Cell 508 280 0785 Ely and his team were excellent. Gave us a good quote and when there was a need for extras he was fare. i can be very picky about details and that is where Ely excels. the project was over $100,000 and i would have him back if i need more work.

An elderly relative needed some basic maintenance performed on her home and asked if I would help. The rear storm door had blown open in a storm and ripped the closer off and would need to be replaced. In addition, one of the wrought iron railings had rusted completely through and fallen over. I found Mike on Angie's List. I called and spoke with him and gave a basic description of the work to be done (replace back storm door & railing). Within an hour he had already spoken with my relative and was on his way to the hardware store to identify in stock doors and to identify railing that would match the other side. The next day his employee Todd showed up and was a very courteous, careful, and dedicated craftsman. The door was installed perfectly. A matching railing was not available so Mike suggested that he construct one from pressure-treated lumber. Todd did this and it looks beautiful! Mike provided a written estimate at the beginning of the job and stuck with his quote. He called me to let me know what was going on at each step of the way and to ensure that I understood what was going on. I really appreciated his efforts to communicate so clearly. A week or so later my relative indicated that the front steps had failed and Mike came over that day to look at the job and provide a written estimate. Todd showed up the next day and began the demolition work. Unfortunately he detected substantial rot of the house immediately behind the steps. Mike called right away to let me know about it and provided an estimate for the additional cost of the removal and replacing the wood with non-decaying material. Todd finished a masterful masonry job - the steps look absolutely beautiful! We were helping to clean out the basement and asked Mike if he could supply a couple of guys to move out a large amount of debris and some old furniture. Mike provided an estimate by phone and although it snowed on the day he was planning to come was able to reschedule for the next day even though it was a Saturday! He took care of every detail and the space now looks wonderful. Lastly, the roof on the garden shed needed replacement and Mike provided a written estimate. Todd performed the work, once again did a wonderful job, and cleaned up afterwards. Overall we were extremely pleased - the price seemed very fair (I did not call for other quotes since my relative liked Mike and Todd so much). Everything was completed in a professional and timely manner.

Wow on Mike and his crew! They do NOT disappoint. From start to finish, with the very first phone call to completion - which only took 2 days - these guys are top notch. Quick, precision oriented, great price, paid extreme attention to detail - and even installed it in partial rain - these guys did a fantastic job. My husband contemplated doing the work himself - but we are SO glad that we had Mike's Powerhouse Crew do the work. Being from out of town, we were having the work done without being present, so we wanted to be certain of what we were getting. Mike's crew continued to update us on the project by sending pictures via I-phone during the process to keep us apprised of the progress. We pulled up in the driveway several days later - and we were SO excited at the beautiful job they did on the fence. It now makes the rest of our fence look bad! I would highly recommend them for ANY project. If they did this good of a job for us on short-notice and a budget, I'm sure any project given would be done quality and well. The individual that did the job was Dana. He was exceptional, hardworking and meticulous. The price was good and I without doubt got more than I expected. They were extremely responsive to my needs and were available on the weekend.

They responded promptly to my request, as soon as the storm was over. The work was carefully and competently done, in a timely manner. The repairs were difficult, because the remaining fencing was old and not in the best condition. Details were addressed with precision. (The portions of the fence they had repaired last year held up perfectly against this year's storm.) The workmen were friendly and businesslike. A very impressive project.

Showed up on time for the most part. Stayed late and cleaned up afterward. Was very conscientious about preparing everything and also explaining the scope of the job. The only negative was sometimes neglected to call if going to be late.

Mike's was contracted to stain and maintain the decks around our house. He did the job completely, quickly and very professionally. In the course of this work, he offered to have his brother look at a leaky gutter. In later conversations, he said that since we had gutter-helmet systems, his brother couldn't do the work. What I likely about Mike is that he has a great eye for what needs maintenance around the house and what doesn't. He knows what he can do and can't. Though he didn't correct the gutter problem, his work on the deck was very high quality with constant communication with any additional work/charges that arose. I would use him again for other household jobs.

Great! Mike was very up front on the job needs and possible surprises. His crew worked around our schedule and took the time to make it right. It turned out better than expected and my tenant was very pleased with the outcome. It started as a septic overflow in a small bathroom. The waste went under the sink, into the floor, on the baseboards, and pooled into the crawlspace. Mike responded to our request and came over when he said he would. He fit us into his schedule and got to work right away. His employee, Todd, did a really nice job in finishing the floor so that the bathroom could be used as soon as possible. The job came out great!

Great, They keep me informed with, what was going on and if any problems arose, I was informed right away and had the problems fixed.

After some scheduling problems...fits and starts...the bay window looks FANTASTIC!! The stain on the inside was beautifully blended to match the rest of the woodwork. Amazing! My friend is sooooo totally pleased with the work! Took a while to get done but very much worth the wait! Thank you, Mike!!!!!

Mike and his crew were meticulous and the results exceeded our expectations. It took a little longer than we expected but the crew refused to compromise on quality just to get it done. For example, when the stain was applied to the first few boards, the color was not what I was expecting. Though I was willing to try and adjust to it, Mike insisted on sanding it and finding the color that I wanted. A lot of other contractors would have taken the easier way out and, as a result, I would have been less thrilled than I am. I would not hesitate to hire Mike's Powerhouse Crew again.

Our experience from the first phone call forward has been nothing but positive. I am thrilled to have found Mike and his crew, through Angie's List, to work with. Mike does what he says and says what he does. The workers were all excellent in all the ways one typically expects but often does not experience. I am, admittedly, one of those picky discerning clients who will speak up when dissatisfied in any way, I have not been disappointed! The bulkheads are beautiful and are even better than expected; in addition they have weathered the first major rainstorm without a drop into the basements. I held out on my review until a major downpour! Previously one of the bulkheads was so leaky we would get well over an inch precipitation after a storm. I would, without reserve, recommend Mike and crew to anyone on the cape.

I didn’t go with him because his price was a lot higher. The man made me write down the price myself because he didn’t even take the time to put a quote together. He called me from his car and gave me the numbers from his head. I don’t know that that is reasonable.

Overall, it has been a peace of mind to find such a great "handyman service" - Michael Yeomans - who is responsive and very professional. They make an appointment and stick to it - they will not leave until the job is done and often say "there's nothing we can't fix!" I believe them - it was a great experience finding a new handyman in Cape Cod that is so experienced and fairly priced.

I got an estimate, and the work was done promptly the next day. The repair is perfect.

For me, this group was a rare find, and I will be forever glad I found them on Angie's List. When Mike Yeomans first came to the house, I knew I found the right guy. Mike is the President and Contractor, and his brother, Ken, is the Project Manager. Throughout the whole project, which was sizable, their work was exemplary, and Mike has photos from start to finish, which I know he'll be glad to show to interested parties. Mike was always available and kept in constant touch. He worked with me to keep costs down, was easy to talk to and to answer questions, and had many helpful suggestions. And, with Ken doing the work, I had the wonderful feeling that everything would be done right. He, too, had helpful suggestions, fully and carefully explained all parts of the process, and was a meticulous and very hard worker. The people they brought in to help (roofer, electrician, assistants) did excellent work and were very personable also. I was very impressed, too, with the way they cleaned up the work area at the end of the day, every day. In conclusion, this group could not be easier to work with, the costs could not have been more reasonable, and their primary aim was to give me their best, and to do everything possible to make sure I was completely happy and satisfied with the finished project - and I was. The house needs more work - roof, shingles, windows - and the ones to do it will be Mike's Powerhouse Crew.

Mike was very prompt returning our first call,came out to do measurements,and had a plan and prices for us within a week. his price was very fair. he did explain and had in writing the price could change depending on what he did find on removal do the clapboards and garage door.

The work was meticulously done, with great attention to detail. The workmen were professional and affable, and the results are impressive.

overall it went very well. Mike was very thorough in his preparation of the bid and working with me on the elements that I wanted in my house (including helping to guide me through some indecision regarding some window options). Once I decided to accept their bid and have them do this work, Mike continued to be available and informative. The work proceeded and took just over a month to complete in all. There were some weather delays and one short illness delay, but I was not stressed for time myself on this job so that wasn't a big deal to me. They always left my house and yard picked up and completely inhabitable throughout the job. They were courteous and respectful of the needs of me and my children throughout (and also careful about my indoor cats). Mike always wanted to make sure that I was happy with the work, both as it was ongoing and once it was completed. I couldn't be happier with how it came out- it looks like a different, brand new house!
