Description of Work: The gentleman ( Jeff ) helped my friend prepare for a move. She needed help and Jeff was just right. He helped move the process along so that she had more peace of mind. Great job, and great company.

Description of Work: I little disappointed. II was told when they arrived that some of my projects were not included. The provide really did just one project for 4 hours.

Description of Work: When we initially contacted Mike's Powerhouse, we wanted to repair a threshold that was rotting, repair the hinges on our front door and install two wooden screen doors. Mike convinced us that part of the roof needed to be repaired, shingles needed to be replaced and a whole host of other things. It took four visits to fix the threshold that they installed. It leaked every time it rained. The screen doors were installed without being primed. It also was raining so one door swelled up so much, it would not close. The crew even painted the trim around some windows without our asking and were charged for it. All in all, it was not a good experience. The crew members were good, talented and tried to make the most of a bad experience but management was incompetent.

Description of Work: Mike came to my house to provide estimates for time and cost of doing a kitchen and bathroom remodel. He told me he would do the job and send me an estimate. I never heard from him again.

Description of Work: We've hired Mike's Powerhouse Crew for several projects and feel very fortunate to have found them. They are hard workers, stick to their estimates and have great follow-through.

Description of Work: I asked to have moulding installed on the cabinets which involved numerous cuts. The contractor sent was not a carpenter and the work was not what we hoped for. When we contacted Mike's they sent another man who did an outstanding job. |Overall we were very pleased.

Description of Work: Willard was sent over and he and I went over in detail a list of small repairs that I wanted done. I was not charged for this time. He came the next week, and his work was done efficiently and was of excellent quality. I was pleased with all aspects of my experience.

Description of Work: Price changed after initial quote. Materials used were not as discussed. |Not all work competed as discussed. Did come back and address most punchlist items. Work performed was roofing replacement work with associated wood trim replacement.

Description of Work: I have used them a year ago and would use them again ! Had a problem with my deck that was no fault of theirs, came right away. I have decide to have them do the work in spring. They are reliable and there for you.

Description of Work: Cape Cellar flooding each spring led to the deterioration of the bulk head stairs. Met once with a representative in March to describe the work and explained that work would probably have to wait until the water level receded. The labor was covered by my "deal" through Angie's list but I would have to pay for the materials. The representative understood the need for the delay and I agreed to the deal. Since this is a summer home and not normally occupied, I thought that I would need to contact them when the basement was dry enough to complete the job. I was pleased to find on my most recent visit to the cape that the work had been completed as promised. What I liked was that they understood the unique situation and were able to work around it. I would have given them an A on professionalism if they had removed the small amount of construction debris from the old stairs. That could simply been a misunderstanding on my part. I will contact them again if a future need should arise.

Description of Work: They were flexible because I had to chage the date of service because my closing date changed. The man they sent showed up on time and was a thorough and hard worker. Meredith

Description of Work: I think the offer in Angie's list for 4 hours of painting was a come-on. I had one bedroom painted. Painting went well-but took 7 days due to painter's other work schedule. Office and Powerhouse Crew staff annoying--called my house complaining to ME that painter should not be working weekend--when painter arranged with me to do so because that's when he was available. I told office staff, who had left me two annoyed messages that the painter should not be working weekends, that she and Mike needed charm lessons. The painter did a good job--but I later noticed he did not paint the inside of the closet door in the room.

Description of Work: I had multiple shelving units that needed to be hung in various rooms. I didn't need the individual for the full 4 hours, but thought the job he did was worth the money. The job turned out terrific! |Susan Quinones

Description of Work: All kinds of minor repairs - hung a large painting, balanced ceiling fans, repaired a broken folding door, replaced a hard wired kitchen light, hung shelves and repaired loose towel racks, etc. Arrived on time. Worked quickly and competently.

Description of Work: Jeff got a lot of little jobs done in 6 hours. We had one slight problem, but he came back the next day to fix it. Office customer service was excellent.

Description of Work: Power washed entire home, including front porch and back decking. Primed and painted exterior home, and stained back deck.
