They made several visits out to make sure everything was okay. They were well groomed and very professional. The quality of the work was great and the overall experience was great.

We had Mike's Powerhouse Crew come for two jobs. The first job was to power wash all our decks. They did a great job, worked hard, and the decks now look like new decks. We had them come back for a second job that included repairing a basement sliding door that had suffered rot and water damage, and installation of a flow well so that the water situation would not re-occur. Everyone on the job sincerely worked hard and wanted to do the job right and do it well. They showed us every step that they took to completely seal and raise up the sliding door. We are confident that they did all they could to ensure it was completely water tight. They re-installed the trim, the latch, and made them better than they were. As an aside, they also repaired a downspout from the gutter system to make sure the water would not come from that source. They were very reliable, came on time, and called us to confirm appointments. We were very happy with their work and would use them again for other jobs.

I found Mike and Ken to be very professional, competent, and responsive throughout. Everything looks great. Even the new insulation in the attic looks neat and trim. We are hoping that it will indeed reduce our heating bills this winter.

l would heartily endorse anyone using this company. Everything was explained to me, and I randomly asked about another problem I have and Ken walked me through what would happen and why I have the problem. AND I understood what he was explaining!! Sometimes that is not the case with other companies.

We called MIke's Power House on 12/21 and Ken Yeomans called us back that morning. We told him that we needed this work done asap. Ken came that evening and gave us a detailed estimate with a drawing of the proposed hand rails. We liked the proposal and asked when he could do it. He said he would fit us in between his other jobs but would be back no later that 12/24 (Christmas eve). as it turned out it rained on 12/23 and he was able to complete the hand rails that day. Even though the rails are in the garage they are beautiful and strong enough to be in the main house.

Mike was very responsive in visiting the house to provide a detailed estimate of the work to be done. In instances where there were options to do the work in different ways, he discussed those and the relative costs of each one. We did not solicit competitive bids, so we don't have a direct comparison of pricing from other sources, but we felt his quote was reasonable for what we needed to have done. Mike began the job shortly after we had agreed on the contract terms, and kept us informed of progress along the way (it is a second home for us, so we were not always on the premises during the project). We are very satisfied with the overall result at this point.

I asked for an estimate on a list of chores. The estimate was accurate, and the work was done promptly and well. Then Irene hit. The fencing in my backyard was damaged, and I couldn't leave my dogs outdoors without supervision. The company agreed to to come and fix it the next day. They did an extraordinary job of securing an aging fence to better than its original condition.

First-rate job by the "crew." Mike, Ken and Greg are courteous, conscientious, and capable professionals who take pride in their work. Much of the work undertaken, by its nature, was nasty and thankless and they (especially Greg, who negotiated the crawl space) handled it gracefully and without complaint. Ken's carpentry is a work-of-art. The team was flexible and stuck with the job until successfully concluded. And, they are considerate of animals and were very careful to make certain my indoor cats were secure at all times! Overall, a very positive experience and I recommend them heartily.

We selected Mike’s team to give us an estimate because his company was local (Harwich) and the one review on Angie’s list was highly encouraging. Mike Yeoman is the salesman and he made at least three trips to our property to measure and to review the project prior to presenting the estimate. Ken is the team’s carpenter/painter extraordinaire with years of experience and he is a perfectionist in all that he does. Craig is part of the painting crew and is a great worker too. The project started with power washing the house and deck. John was in charge of this and the results were very good. The cedar shingles had a heavy layer of mildew and I was amazed with the results of the power washing with only water as the cleaning agent. Next came a thorough scraping and sanding of all painted surfaces. Then a primer coat and the finished coat were applied. The job was neatly done and the team cleaned up and put their ladders and other tools out of sight each day. The replacement of the entry door was a work of art. Ken insulated around the new door, installed flashing above the door, and installed lead under the threshold. The old door rusted in an odd way and Ken wanted to do all he could to make sure water and rust would not be a problem for the new metal door. Mike’s team always arrived when they said they would. If they expected to be delayed, they called to tell us and to confirm the change was acceptable. We are very pleased with the quality of their workmanship and the responsiveness of the team to all of our requests. You will be delighted if you contract them to do your project.

Although the job took a bit longer than planned (3 days), it is/was worth the wait and the workmanship reflects the extra time needed. There were two exits required from the ramp and only one was in the original plan so that was added. Also the handrails (2 ... one above the other... all along the ramp) were nicely sanded. The ramp needed to be configured to accommodate the patio area and gardens. Nicely done. The storm door that THEY had just installed needed to be removed and will be reinstalled when I'm able to walk independently. This ramp works well with the wheelchair and will be very nice for the walker. Workmanship is to be commended.

Owner/Contractor showed up ON TIME and worked diligently to organize my basement by cleaning and building wooden storage shelves and several other maintenance projects in other areas. During the time they were here, they WORKED continuously. I was VERY pleased with the outcome and especially with their intuitiveness. When I was confused as to what to do where, they offered REASONABLE and many times very inexpensive solutions. They left the area very clean and well organized. Carpentry and painting was done to PERFECTION ... where 'good enough' was never an alternative. Work that had been done by prior contractors and painters occasionally needed to be redone or touched up. However, no work was done without consulting with me and getting my approval. My budget was always taken into consideration. Both workers/contractors worked efficently and spent long hours in order not to be too disruptive ... always contacting me to let me know the current schedule and what the next project (of several that I had contracted) would be. Work was done within budget. I was consulted at every phase of each project when changes were necessary. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.
