Kathy and company have been very responsive and do a great job. Not only would we recommend them, but as one of one of our renters said, "This is the cleanest house we've had in 10+ years of coming to Harwich."

I was impressed with Kathy from the moment I met her. She arrived on time and was friendly and professional. She assessed the size and condition of our home and provided what I believed to be a fair estimate for cleaning services for weekly turnover of our rental property. I particularly liked that her estimate is based on the actual number of hours spent cleaning the house - so if our renters are neat, we may be able to refund part of their cleaning fee. I also like that the cleaner leaves a card with Kathy's cell phone number, so if a renter arrives and something has been overlooked, they can call and a cleaner will be sent immediately. I have been in touch with Kathy during the off-season for periodic rentals and she has been responsive and accommodating. Really happy with Beautiful Home of Cape Cod! I highly recommend them!

At Thanksgiving guests would be arriving for the weekend, and I was "under the gun" to get everything ready. The two women were thorough, friendly, and efficient, leaving my two-story, one family home in tip top shape. -- Both full bathrooms shone; and the side laundry room was also cleaned deodorized; -- The three bedrooms were ready for my quests and my family; and the open kitchen-living room area was ready for entertaining and meal preparation. All this was really important because during the week, I live and work in a different place in Massachusetts, off-cape and needed help desperately. Beautiful Home of Cape Cod was perfect for the job at a rate I could afford.

I received an email from my regular housecleaner that she was sick and unable to do the turnover cleaning of our cottage the next day. We had renters leaving Sat. morning and new ones arriving on Sat. afternoon, so we were desperate to find someone to do the turnover cleaning. I left a message for Kathy and she got back to me very quickly saying she could be there in the morning. She was very friendly and professional. The next day Kathy and one of her employees arrived as scheduled and did a thorough cleaning of our house. I truly appreciated her willingness to rearrange her schedule to help us out of a jam, and I would definitely use her services again.

responded immediately, came shortly after time scheduled which was fine I did not expect a team where each person had an hourly rate it's a good concept if all workers are equal but that was not the case one cleaner spent a very long time wiping a wall another had one job, to clean one small bathroom which had a dirty mirror at the end one young man was dusting using a feather duster which only swished dust in the air with no real cleaning I had already washed and waxed the hardwood floors but the kitchen floor cleaning was a top priority the job was not at all thorough there were stains and spots still present after they left

. Kathy Wembly contacted me a couple of days before the date of service to say yes she would be able to clean the house on consecutive Saturdays. I had been left high and dry by the cleaning company who normally serviced the house every Saturday because we rent it out through out the summer months. She said she would clean on the 27th and the 5th but aftyer that she did not know, we said thats great. Quoted me a price of 140.00. The cleaning girl arrived at 9:45 am and was waiting for Kathy to arrive with the supplies, which she did about 10:15 am. They cleaned for a couple hours pointed out some cob webs, crumbs on the floor, napkins etc etc. As I was getting ready to leave she informed me that the cost would be 210.00 because her cleaning girl would be there for SIX HOURS. I didnt argue and paid, grateful she came at all. The incoming guests called me at 2:30 pm to say they arrived safety and what a beautiful home it was. No cleaning people on the premise and I guess finished early!!! Kathy emailed me on Saturday morning of July 5th and said she couldnt clean today and unless someone cancelled any other Saturday. After squeezing an extra seventy bucks from me the previous Saturday she is now a no show after telling me she would be there. My wife and I cleaned the house ourselves and it took three hours and looked great. This lady not only screwed me for extra money the week before she pulls ano show the morning of. Not the way I run my business nor a good way to run a cleaning business. She knew it was two bathrooms and four bedrooms what was the EXTRA MONEY FOR, because it was a nice house and she thought we could afford it??? dont go near her unless you want to pay extra.

It was great. I was not able to be home while she cleaned but totally trusted her in my home, trusted her not to cut corners to get the job done and I now trust her to come back on a regular basis. Not to mention she got along with my dog -

We needed someone to clean the house.... fast. I had put my back out and we had company coming. Uh Oh. Went to Angie's List and randomly chose Beautiful Home of Cape Cod. They were very considerate and made themselves available on short notice. Did a great job.

Chuck was comfortable doing the work without us being home. It was very convenient. When we did get home the closet doors had been installed perfectly. If you didn't know it, you would not have realized that workers were in the house. Everything was clean and tidy and terrific. I look forward to more projects with Chuck.

They arrived close to on time (the house is hard to find) and were very apologetic about the 10 minute (if that) delay. The owner came with two cleaners, reviewed the job again with them in detail and left once they were started. They were thorough, efficient and serious scrubbers! The two worked for six hours straight with virtually no break and the woman who cleaned the master shower actually got the mildew stains off that I had failed to remove with bleach. This team has a high standard for cleaning, and if you want a quickie once-over they are probably not for you. They came with their own supplies and equipment. The price was more than I had hoped for - not a bargain but fair for the hard work that was needed.

We had company coming for a week and were in a huge bind. My husband and I usually do it all ourselves, but some unforeseen things had come up and we were running out of time and energy. I sent a desperate note through the Beautiful Home of Cape Cod website and Kathy (the owner) responded quickly and made immediate arrangements to come at short notice. She and two brawny young men arrived the next day and started right in on getting the place ship-shape. They were extremely thorough and quick and professional. Reaching out to Kathy was definitely a life-saver!

Kathy and team came to my house after my family of 12 people stayed for the week of 4th of July. She assembled the team on short notice and was flexible with timing and availability. The house is mainly hardwood floors and has not had a head to toe cleaning in a few years. They did a great job with the windows, moving and cleaning behind and below furniture, and polishing the hardwood floors. The team spent 4 hours at the house and did a great job. I would recommend Kathy and will likely use her again either to clean regularly or another big clean up. I do think the service is a bit expensive.

Kathy and Holly did a great job cleaning my home. They were professional, prompt, friendly, and polite. I would highly recommend them for your home cleaning.

Project went very well. Chuck arrived when he said he would and completed the work in the same day started.

Chuck did a great job and the place looks great. There was great attention to detail and Chuck spent time helping me work out the details. Living in Boston and the cottage being on the Cape brought with it some challenges as I was designing it remotely at times. Chuck was great at communicating with me and reporting back. A kitchen cabinet had to be fixed to fit in and Chuck did a great job. Chuck also did most of the electrical and plumbing. When there was a task that required an expert (installing the wiring for the electric stove top), Chuck had the wherewithal to call in an expert to ensure the job would be done correctly. The remodeling took longer than expected and that was the only disappointment, however, that is not uncommon with remodeling. (The remodeling was in May) Housecleaning I had, only compliments from the renters. Kathy has always been there when I needed her. When I got last minute bookings in the fall, she was very accommodating to get the cottage cleaned for me before they come. If there is an extra that needs to be done, she does it. The new refrigerator I got was a disaster. It fit under the counter and looked great, but was not frost free. It ended up needing to be defrosted every 2 - 3 weeks and this had not been in the plan. However, Kathy always had the cottage ready for the renters. With Beautiful Home, I have coverage for cleaning and repairs. If there is a problem, I can call them to check things out and I rest easy that things are in good hands. I don't have to track down an electrician, or a plumber and hope that they will be responsive. With this relationship I get great service and the pricing is reasonable. (Note: the remodeling was done in May, 2010. Kathy worked for me June through Oct. 2010 and will continue with me through 2011, and beyond I hope)

After a lack of response a week later, I sent a follow-up email to Mr. Wimberly asking if he was interested in this job since I hadn't heard from the sub-contractor. He did call back and came out with a roofing contractor on 4/13/11. Chuck took my email address and said he'd send the estimate right out. As of 04/19/11, I still haven't received an estimate on this job, despite another email from me requesting a response. My feeling is that if a company can't be bothered to respond WHILE they're trying to get a job, it's an indication that they're not going to responsive AFTER a job is done. I won't spend any more time or effort begging for a bid from Beautiful Home of Cape Cod.

My experience was always very professional. As an owner living 1500 miles and communicating by e-mail and phone over the last five months, Chuck has always kept me informed and updated on the progress of my new kitchen. It might seem like a long time but he had to wait on deliveries from Lowe's and Sears. He worked in my home during an exceptional cold winter. He will be doing some more work by building two new closets in the master bedroom. As you can see, he is an A find, thank you Angie's List for helping find him.

Again, the job is not started nor finished. I'm communicating long distance with Chuck. Everytime I was in touch with him he was very responsive to my requests.

Chuck is very reliable and pays close attention to the property. He contacts you immediately if there are any problems. He always returns phone calls promptly; I highly recommend his services.

We first met Chuck Wimberly when we bought the house on Cape Cod in August 2005, when he was working with another company the company has now been restructured into 3 companies, including Beautiful Home of Cape Cod. Chuck has always clearly been in charge of the construction, remodeling, and carpentry. He, and any subcontractors he uses do an impeccable job. Chuck's wife, Kathy provides cleaning services, and while we have not used this service, it will certainly be practically perfect. Chuck and Kathy wouldn't have it any other way. Most of all, Chuck and his crews offer good value and honest service.
