Bartels Plumbing and Heating

This is my vacation home, so I was not able to monitor their day to day activities, but I am now dealing with the consequences of their work. When I called for my for my first plumbing emergency one of the brothers was out of town and the other head a bad back. They had now back up plan so all I got was a "sorry" Second, I recently got a letter from the building inspector for the town, informing me that the heating system did not meet code requirements. He contacted Bartels a number of times but they were unwilling to correct the situation. So I have a house that is out of code! Finally, my AC system to the Master bedroom wing was leaking onto my basement floor. Another plumbing service call found that the condensate plastic tubing was kinked and backing up into the pump, On further examination, he discovered that the outlet for the plastic tube was into the crawl space under the master bedroom wing. Unfortunately, the floor of the crawl space is cement so the exiting water water would just pool on the cement. No telling what mold issues I may have down the road. At least South Shore Heating and Cooling is getting lots of business.

Rick has done all of my plumbing work for the last 7 years. This has included installing a new furnace, air conditioning system, kitchen appliances, toilets etc. He is the best. Nice guy and skilled at what he does.

They are incredibly responsive and good-natured people. I would definitely use them again in the future if needed.

I have used them many times and I am very satisfied with them. My overall experience with them has been excellent. Their quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism are all very good.
