Description of Work: I know Scott socially, but have never used his services. As he is in the same business as my husband, I doubt I would ever use him, but this is no reflection on his work. This form is forcing me to give him an overall rating, which I really can't do as I have no idea. Do not take his "c" as indicative of anything other than my frustration with the form.

+ 0 moreScott's piece of the overall project went well - on time and with attention to quality. Although not acting as general contractor, he guided us through the whole process, set expectations for us in working with other contributors.
Description of Work: Managed the update of one bathroom and put in a second. Did all demolition, carpentry, and finish work. Coordinated with designer on best approaches for all aspects.

+ -1 moreScott came over quickly. He quickly suggested the least expensive way to do the job - he could have charge me a lot more! He also walked around the house with me and pointed out things that needed to be fixed. He is a very smart, experienced professional, and also a very nice person. I highly recommend him!

+ -1 moreScott is the best of the best. He is smart and cares about his work. He saved me money by repairing several windows instead of having to replace them. He also found home maintenance issues that if addressed now will save $ in the long term. I could not be happier with Scotts' professionalism, knowledge, and his good cheer. In the future there is no other carpenter I would hire.
Description of Work: rebuild window sills, replace clapboards, interior finish carpentry, rehang doors and install new lock sets etc

+ -1 moreNo response to request for bid I f he is interested then he would have sent a quote I have already worked with 6 different Plumbers and some were bad and 2 were good. I was a plumber for 30 years and know when I meet a good one. I no longer work as a plumber

Description of Work: Scott and his assistant rebuilt some bookshelves and did some minor repairs for me, to my satisfaction. I would say his price is reasonable, he charges by the hour for handyman jobs, approx $35/hr I believe. I will have him back for more work.

+ 0 moreScott and his team are professional, meticulous and caring. They replaced two windows and repaired trim around several more. The back door was broken and he fixed it so that it hung straight and didn't leak air. showed up on time every day, cleaned the work area and were curteous.

ORDERED WRONG SIZE DOOR FOR BASEMENT JOB. PROMISED TO SHOW UP TO FIX. NO SHOW, IN SPITE OF FACT THAT IT WAS COLD (NOVEMBER) AND WE COULDN'T LOCK OR CLOSE OUR FRONT DOOR. ALSO CHARGED FOR SUPPLIES NOT USED ON THIS JOB.,
