Description of Work: Pella/Haverhill sent a relatively poorly trained sales person to do the quote. When the door came in, it was for a wall thickness smaller than what we have and they tried to persuade us to let them "shim" the frame to fit. We sought advice from a friend in the trades who told us it would never be to our satisfaction, so we insisted that they get the correct door which they finally did, although only after several discussions where they tried to convince us that the wrong door frame could be made to work to our satisfaction. The storm door was installed improperly and never would lock and I subsequently hired a handy man who fixed it. Now, a little more than 5 years later, the door itself is de-laminating. It was never exposed directly to the elements, it always had a storm in front of it. They've said that they will replace the door panel. We've concluded that the quality of the Pella brand is just not up to its old reputation and would not buy anything Pella again.
