+ -1 moreMike was right on time and had accomodated my work schedule. He was quick and neat, and the new doorknob works like a charm. The cost was very reasonable and I am so pleased to be able to use the door again! Would definitely recommend Mike and will plan to use him again for any similar work.
Description of Work: Mike replaced a broken doorknob for a backdoor to our porch. The knob still turned, but somehow the lock was stuck in place and we could not open the door at all.

Description of Work: The lock on our antique door wouldn't unlock from the inside. I spoke with him on the phone and emailed pictures. The door wasn't hanging correctly so that the parts of the lock were out of alignment. They adjusted the strike plate, and replaced part and we were back in business. He noticed that my back door lock wasn't installed correctly and did a minor adjustment to that also. Very professional...reasonably priced.

+ -1 moreI did not take the offered appointment the next week because I was only going to be in town from Friday until Sunday. It was a shame because I own several houses in the area and now I feel I was treated so dismissively, I will never call is company again for any type of service.
Description of Work: I called the provider yesterday and asked if they could come out and change locks on the home I was purchasing the following week. I explained the situation, the house was small, than 950 sq. ft., with only three doors. The provider asked all the pertinent questions; how many keys needed, all the same locks, when did he need to come out., etc. His prices seemed quite reasonable. However, when I told him I was closing on the house at 2:30 he said he closed at 5:00 and could not make it out until Monday of the following week, I was a little put off. I was coming in from another state to finalize the closing and being so ridged to close at 5:00 and not meet me after my closing was disappointing. He gave me the impression that the job was too small and not worth his time.

+ -1 moreThe company arrived promptly as promised. He examined all the doors requiring locks and he noticed that I had forgotten to include the lock leading to the basement inside the house. He explained that if five doors share a common key, that door should be included as well. It will inevitably create confusion in the future if a different key is used for the basement only. Good Thinking!

The person at the store was very friendly, very knowledge and very professional. We would use this locksmith again and will recommend him to others.

+ -1 moreHe came with in the hours specified. He called to ask if he could come at the beginning of the mentioned time. After asking a few questions, he did his work efficiently. The price included a door knob for the door. Would definitely hire again.
Description of Work: Replaced outside door knob, reset the current lock to the original key and serviced the other locks on two doors.
