From start to finish, they were top notch. We could not be there for the move. So, prior they took care to go room by room pre-move to list each item and which house it was moving to (we had 2 destinations). Went to the new house to show where each item was to be placed upon the move. They packed the entire house and moved to two locations (one out of state). Was a complicated move, but I felt 100% comfortable leaving it in their capable hands. Hope I never move again, but...if I do, I will use them!

I highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Brookline transportation packed our three bedroom condo and moved us across town. I might be off on the cost of service. I would have to double check my records, but they were almost half as much as other companies. They set up furniture for us, moved things around and overall did an amazing job.

Description of Work: My move was scheduled for 11/12 From Franklin, MA to Fort Worth, TX. At 5pm on 11/11 they advised me that my driver was late so they were going to have to load my items and take them to their storage area hold it for one day and load it on my drivers truck. I was very upset since I was ready to start driving I had vacation from work and needed to leave on 11/12 but I didn't want my items being handled twice and taken out of my site to a storage area. Then the driver ended up being 8 days late to get my belongings which meant he didn't deliver them to me until 12 days later. I didn't have clothes or dishes for Thanksgiving. Then I am told the day before he was to arrive that he only had a few of my items, they had decided what to load and what to leave behind. No one called me or asked what I needed the most. They then told me that since they were delivering a few of my items they did not have to reimburse me for a delayed shipment. The driver arrived and didn't have help so I had to help him unload. I am a 52 year old single female. All of my clothes and kitchen items were in the second shipment that didn't arrive until 12/7. They lost 13 containers of mine and almost every piece of furniture was damaged. This was the worst service I have ever had with a moving company and this was my 3rd long haul move.

While we do everything we can to service our customers in the most professional manner this shipment doubled in size and weight which caused the delay in the shipment. Even though we had to split the shipment on two separate vehicles to get the shipment to Texas, we did it at no additional cost to the customer. We explained the process to the customer, and that the shipment went overweight. We explained that driver that was originally loading the shipment ran out of space. We went to her home at our expense to pick up the shipment and bring it back to the warehouse for the next available truck to Texas. We kept the customer updated during the process and alerted her to the situation. We were able to get the original weight and more on the first truck and delivered it to Texas, and then had the rest of the shipment that was not part of the original weight was put onto our truck at our expense and delivered to Texas. Were sorry that the shipment did not go as planned, but we did absorb the cost of getting the rest of the shipment to (Members Name) as fast as we could.

I was very impressed. They have very good customer relations. Not just the salesman but also their contact person who follows up. The driver who was in charge of the move was very skilled & excellent at his job.
Description of Work: They did part of the packing & drove from Boston to Seattle. They unloaded the truck & did some setting up.
