Working with Valley Excavating was a pleasure from the first contact. David was easy to work with and very professional. Paul, the project manager was at the site the next morning and we had our estimate in one day. They came in quite a bit lower but certainly much more reasonable for the project at hand. On the day of the project they arrived ahead of schedule, equipped with everything that would be needed. Paul again went over what he was going to do and kept me informed of each step. They were finished quickly and it went exactly as planned. He was even able to save our tree which was inconveniently standing in the way. I highly recommend Valley Excavating. We used them to fill in a 70-year-old concrete pool. David is knowledgeable, professional, and honest. He took the time to explain all the steps needed to complete the project and answered any questions that came up during the job. They are very professional and take great care in the work they do. Their team showed up on time and jumped in showing they knew exactly what to d. But after several hours on the jackhammer I was beginning to have my doubts about their experience. But when they conquered that mass of concrete out of my front yard they showed me they knew what they were doing and accomplished it greatly. And then, the next morning they were removing another slab of concrete, but they did not drive their track loader but were carrying the chunks by hand, I asked them why and David said if he had driven that heavy machine on my wet yard it would have really left huge ruts, and he didnâ t want to do that to my yard. Wow! That really made a powerful impression on me. I highly recommend them. I am excited to see what they can do with stamped concrete.
