highly NOT recommended. - they billed extra days. - can never get a hold of them on the phone. - was not on time to shuffle the snow.

They were here every week as expected. Cutting and edging was good, and clean up was good also. There price was reasonable. It was easy to use this company and will use them again.

We were pleased in the beginning to sign up with Phil Shumway. Looked forward to a more professional company. we booked our first lawn care job and it went well and our lawn looked good, not great but good. The electric trimming was in fact exceptional. The second time we were to have our lawn mowed, no one showed up, I left a message for Phil. He called after supper and was surprised that no one showed up? Had asked his employee to take care of our lawn and thought he had, he had not and it was an awful job. He had another employee mow for us for free a few days later and the job was awful as well. The third and final time we were told that someone would take care of our lawn on the 26th or 27th of September and when no one showed up by 5PM on the 27th, my 88 YEAR OLD father called fill and left a message as to what was going on and to call him back. He called back next AM and was yelling and screaming at my father because he wanted so answers and to tell him we were letting him go, he was very verbally abusive to both my parents and complained about them wanting our lawn cut and trimmed. We were awfully scared and concerned about how rude he was. Just be cautious. We are very concerned about his anger and his business. We have found another company and they and we do just fine, Have never let a company go and been so verbally attacked. Maybe he should not be on this list. The Panzers Amherst, MA

They were extremely knowledgable and professional and we were very happy with their service. We requested a proposal from them a few months ago for a landscaping job, and while we chose another company, their proposal was excellent and we would definitely approach them again. Many of our neighbors have used Shumway as well and all report excellent service.

They have worked for us a few times. They do landscaping and trees. They were very good and they knew what they were doing. They came and did it. I have no idea how much I spent for their services. It seemed pricey and I think they all are, but I don’t have anything to compare it to. I got another estimate and they were about in the same ballpark. So, I think they are probably on target. The quality of their work was excellent. Their punctuality was fine. I don’t think we had to wait terribly long for them. Their professionalism was very good too. We would use them again in the future.
