Honey Do Handyman

Unfortunately I had requested an estimate but was never given an accurate one. I was told 55.00 per hour but this was never clarified that this meant 55.00/hr/PER person. While Garrett was initially responsive he failed to complete the job after me texting/calling many times. I was told that I would be given an estimate for the rest of the job within the next week--but then never heard from him again. I got one text saying he was still working on it--but then it never came to fruition. The quality of the work was okay--but the screen door that was installed does not close completely and paint was chipped off a door that they shaved down. While they did repaint the door--they still left many areas chipped. I actually thought Garrett's assistant Sean was a much harder worker and overall seemed more sincere. I guess I can't stress how important communication is--I realize these guys are extremely busy--but even a quick text to say--sorry I won't be able to get back to you for 2 weeks would be better than nothing!! Maybe things would have gone better at a different point in the year. I'm not sure.

Excellent. Garrett and Co. were prompt, courteous, professional and did a very good, quality job at a very fair price. I would recommend them to anyone, and plan on using their services again soon.

I called Garrett and described the problem. He said that he could take a look at it and that he would bring a replacement kit in case the flushing mechanism was too old and needed replacing. We scheduled an appointment for the following day, which was great because the water running and the noise had been going on for more than a week. He spent a few minutes fiddling with the mechanism and he figured out how to fix it without having to replace it. One of the parts had broken loose, but he put it back in place and the water stopped running. He didn't charge me anything and said to notify him in case it broke again and he needed to come back. He's very personable and seems very honest and professional.
