It went very well. Radu and Alex were excellent, hard workers and were very respectful of our property. They did an absolutely wonderful job with the siding and we couldn’t be more happy with the results. Eric and Jason did a great job on all the windows, They cleaned up after themselves, never left a mess. ( and they were great with our dog). The house looks incredible! I would never hesitate to hire Penfields again.

Two different crews did the work. The roofing crew was amazingly fast and efficient. They laid tarp all around the work area to make sure everything they stripped off the old roof was collected and went into the dumpster. They repaired/replaced the OSB underlayment where necessary. They were polite and courteous, and since the work was done on my day off, they kept me informed of everything they were doing. I could not have asked for or expected better service and workmanship. The front half of the roof was done in one morning. The forecast was for rain in the afternoon. The crew forman frequently checked a weather radar app on his cell phone and said they would not be able to finish the other half of the roof that day. Sure enough, it rained hard that afternoon. Due to the weather, they returned two days later to strip and shingle the other half of our roof. We could not be more pleased with the finished product and the IKO shingles look great! Two days after the roofers left, a crew of two men came to install new seamless steel gutters and Gutter Helmet. The work was done in a few hours and these guys did a beautiful job. Many years ago, I put up plastic gutters. Seamless steel is so much better -- and looks much better. I wanted the Gutter Helmet to keep debris and snow out of the gutters. We average four feet of snow where we live and use a roof rake. So, I used to have to take the gutters off in the winter. I am hoping that the snow will slide right over the Gutter Helmet and be no problem. My husband will also never have to climb a ladder again to clean gutters.

These guys are professional and top-notch. They begin work early and work hard. Each night before they left they used magnets to make sure the area around the job was clean of nails and they picked up all materials from common areas to ensure the safety of my family. The entire job took about a week. We were very pleased and can't say enough about their knowledge and professionalism. All these years later their work has stood the test of time. I use their services for all my home improvement projects and would recommend them without hesitation.

These guys are pros. They show up early (7:30 am) and work hard. They were done tearing out the old ceiling and putting up new drywall in 2 days. Taping and finishing took another couple of days. They left everything clean and tidy every night. They are professional and courteous.
