Lenny arrived when the material delivery truck did and directed unloading as we had discussed earlier. Work had been scheduled in the spring to begin when our native plant garden would be dormant, at the end of October. Because of rainy weather, work started a few days late, but progressed nicely with breaks for rain and Sundays. Debris was carefully channeled and cleaned up each evening. Workers were careful, industrious, and well organized. Lenny worked along with his crew and they all seemed to know exactly how to do the jobs they were doing. We went away on a trip before the job was done, so we made our final payment on a Saturday. Upon our return on Tuesday, the only sign that any work had been done was a handsome new roof and a few bundles of extra shingles. The grounds were immaculate.
