Description of Work: Rob Clausen and his staff have carried out a successful, top to bottom electrical upgrade for our remodeling of a 1900 gardener's cottage in Lenox, MA. They are technically accomplished, flexible in dealing with project changes, and highly knowledgable in lighting design. Rob's portfolio includes museum-quality art installations, and he knows how to achieve that kind of quality on a budget. Clausen Electric delivered unusual value on our small but challenging job.

+ -1 moreThe work was not fully completed, what was done was not done on time, the licensed electrician was not present during many of the hours the apprentice was working, however I was billed for his time in equal measure. In addition to not completing the work, he billed me at $6800 instead of the quoted $2000-$2500, bullied me (a woman) and withheld the Occupancy Permit to my store. The most unprofessional contractor I've ever worked with. There are problems here... Do not hire Rob Clausen unless you want to get thoroughly ripped off.
Description of Work: I opened a 497 sq ft retail store and was quoted between $2,000 and $2500 to complete the electrical work required.
