office staff is extremely rude, especially when you tell them they made a mistake. what happened to the customer is always correct? they have no idea what that means. don,t ever expect an apology from them, it would be a cold day in h*** ! on the service side of the company , they do good work and are respectful . but it all begins in the front office, if you get treated like crap ,what do you expect ? i have heard a lot of talk among the folks around town about how rude they are, i have now experience it myself .i am a retired service manager for 25 years, a major automaker. the automaker has sent myself and all my staff to school and seminars all over the country, to learn how to deal with customers , both satisfied and irate customers . i have 5 star reviews from jd powers, Chrysler corp etc...i would never on my worst day treat my customers with that amount of disrespect . and i would never lasted that long at my job if i did. in my opinion the office staff needs a major overhaul to get on track again, without the customers , there's no business !

George Propane promised me they wouldn't sell out to Osterman, and when Osterman tried to rip me off by filling my tank after I told them not to so that it would be full and I couldn't switch providers, George helped me. They have done some work (installed a new heater) and also set me up with a new account and delivered propane all winter. Their prices were better or the same as anyone around, and they have been consistently responsive and reasonable on all accounts. I hope beyond hope that they don't sell out to Osterman!

Very professional, on time. Follow up service excellent

Generally this company is very good. Propane is delivered reliably and talking to the receptionist is pleasant. I cannot, however, recommend this company because of their employee Valerie who is rude, unprofessional, and belittling. There are several options for propane delivery in Western Mass; don't subject yourself to Valerie.

I have called George Propane 5 times since November, attempting to get my gas fireplace fixed. They have provided my gas since I installed the stove in 2001, so I assumed I was something of a valued customer. Wrong. Each time I called, I was told how very busy they were, but they would fit me in when they could. I would wait a few more weeks and call again, only to be told the same thing. No apology, mind you. Just "Yeah. We're busy. We'll let you know" and then.... nothing. It's been three months now. I have moved on. Could not in my wildest imagining recommend George Propane to anyone who actually needs to heat their home. Luckily for me the gas fire is backup heat and we haven't had a power outage yet this winter.

Everything went according to plan. Timely, professional, and knowledgeable. We left confident that the equipment was safe and that we could add the additional pipework inconspicuously around the house. Plan to use them as our future propane gas supplier.

He did a great job and was very professional.
